Photo caption or description
Add ability to add a description or a caption as a separate piece of metadata for a photo. Possibly it could be part of Album metadata. The lack of this feature prevents me from migrating multiple albums from Google Photos.
There are some suggestions to display captions or descriptions from EXIF stored with photos. Doing it that way would change the modified by date etc if a user wanted to change those; also updates would require de-encryption/re-encryption, adding challenges to de-duping and burdening the user flow. On the other hand if my suggestion is implemented, then those who wanted EXIF…

Give an option to avoid Proton SSO
Using one username+password to access all Proton services opens that entire Proton account to one keylogged login attempt breaching everything.
If I want to log into ProtonVPN somewhere, that does not mean I trust that computer with access to my email, calendar, drive, and so on.
Logging into ProtonVPN, even if keylogged, should only ever allow the attacker to log into ProtonVPN.
This is an all eggs in one basket situation.
Let people use personal access tokens instead of Proton SSO, created for and bound to one particular service.

Proton Sheet public link with expiration and password from Proton Sheet directly.
This one is an easy one, and the title speaks by itself.
With a Proton Drive link, when I create a public link, I have the option to set a password and an expiration date. It is possible to share a Proton Sheet from Proton Drive this way, which is OK, but not from Proton Sheet, which would be even better.1 vote -
Speed up search indexing in Drive on Linux Mozilla
I have been trying for 1 month to have my search feature in the web interface of drive index my files. This so they will be searchable. There are over 170K files there. The first 100K seem to be done is a jiffy, but after that it is like 1000 files every 10 minutes. My laptop is never connected to the internet for more as 3 or 4 hours and the index seems to crash after several disconnects. So after a month of trying I still have not been able to get a searchable index. Isn't it possible to speed…

Bug report to Proton Support: A shared Proton Doc with view-only permissions displays a blank page
There's a bug in Proton Docs: sharing a Proton Doc with view-only permissions between Proton IDs (direct email invitation, NOT via public link) shows a blank page to the recipient. The only way to view the document is to open its history. This affects both free and paid Proton accounts equally.
Additional Details:
Browsers tested: Firefox, Vivaldi, Edge, Chrome, Mulvard — same blank page result in all
Accounts tested: Multiple Proton accounts (3+ different sender and recipient accounts) — consistent issue
Reproduction steps: Switching sharing permissions from Editor to Viewer in all instances produces the same result
