Linux supported equally
Linux is very popular among privacy concerned users, who make up a large chunk of Proton's userbase. However, Proton fails to provide any solid Linux apps and frequently leaves them unmaintained or released years after the initial product launch. Proton should make Linux a first-class platform, with proper support from day one.

two-factor-identification
The two-factor-identification should also work with an SMS-code sent to a simple handy. I think this is important.

Official Flatpak support on Linux
Flatpak is a modern packaging format for Linux distributions, with the advantages of:
- working consistently across a wide array of distributions (thus making it much easier for developers to support any Linux distro)
- relative independence from the underlying system, making it the only distribution channel for immutable distros like Fedora Silverblue and Steam OS
- higher security due to its sandboxingAs such, it'd be great if it was officially supported by Proton for all its native applications.
It's true that the sandbox could potentially pose some limits to the app that might not be solvable via portals…

Single message viewing option
I love having an encrypted email option, but the protonmail client layout is frustratingly nonintuitive. The fact that you can't look at just a single message and see the attachments with it makes it easy to overlook unexpected attachments and hard to find what you're looking for. Once there's a thread, finding what you're looking for can become a frustrating, time-consuming task where you're clicking back and forth between collapsed items and eventually losing your place and having to go back to the mailbox view and start again from the top. I'd like the ability to just open a message,…

Add toggle to hide Folders entirely
Not everyone uses Folders now, or wants to use them in the future. Many of us coming from Gmail think of all emails living in 1 big folder (save for a few exceptions like Sent), and then organizing everything via Labels. However there's no way to HIDE Folders from the side menu or turn off the feature, and it even gets a prominent space above Labels even if you don't have a single folder created.
Please create a toggle or other similar feature to ignore/hide Folders if users would prefer to just use labels

Yubikey support without authenticator app
Please add yubikey support on all products?
Individual passwords per product would be a good feature.
Please remove authenticator app dependency or release a proton authenticator app.
And please lose the Google integration completely!!! Most of us use proton to get rid of Google.

3rd Party Drive API/SDK
I would like to see a restricted API service for 3rd party for storing structured/unstructured data within a user's Drive. This would be sandboxed but accessible by the user. This would allow the user to store and manipulate PII data via a third party authorized to access the API by Proton. Proton would be able to capture value by charging a licensing/subscription fee for access to the API. To ensure integrity, Proton would require third parties submit routine security audits to maintain access.

Domain name hosting
Simple domain name hosting, nothing fancy but being able to assign custom dns records to allow websites to work but MX records be locked to proton. This could also allow for possibility of custom short names that could be used for proton drive sharing like bitly. Possibly even a dynamic DNS client in the future that could be used for remote connections to home network with OpenVPN or maybe a proton version of similar use. This would be especially beneficial now that google domains is getting shut down.

Proton Family pricing options
I'm happy to see the newly released Proton Family plan! I've been waiting around for something like this for a while. However, I don't really need to support 6 users in my small family. Can we instead get pricing per member? The current pricing is about 3.33 USD per member per month, at 19.99 USD per month if you get the 2 year plan. How about flexible pricing: 2 members = 4.99 USD each, 3 members = 4.49 USD each, 4 members = 3.99 USD each, 5 members = 3.49 USD each, 6 members 3.33 USD each.

Quantumcomputer Encryption [SECURITY THREAT]
"SAVE NOW, DECRYPT LATER" is a big threat to all of our data and it's affecting us already.
Considering Proton is at the frontier of online security and the relatively new announcements of NISTs Quantum Encryption methods, I would suggest you look into applicability of those methods to your services.
I hope this makes it up the ladder, because this SECURITY BREACH AFFECTS EVERY PROTON USER AND EVERY SINGLE INFORMATION: Starting with all email traffic, to drive documents, calendar and even all browser history through ProtonVPN. To go even further, proton users and VPN exit nodes could be specially monitored,…
