  2. APK filenames should include version number

    Viewing the version number of APK files on Proton's web site would be very helpful to ensure the downloaded file is a later version than the one already in use. I recently downloaded...

    ProtonMail-Android.apk

    ... but would have preferred to see the version number as part of the filename. For example...

    ProtonMail-3-0-17-Android.apk

  3. Respond inline on desktop

    Works on phone app - be consistent and allow to Respond In-line. I hate having people to open up something in an email I forward - they see a blank email until they select to "open" the forward. Who did the bug oversight with such bad inconsistency?

  6. Allow VPN auto connect to be turned off

    Proton VPN on an iPhone will not allow auto connect to be turned off. The only way to stop using the VPN is to uninstall Proton VPN. There are times when connected to a network that does not have internet access, there is a need to turn off the Proton VPN. I have also had problems when using the hot spot on my iPhone that I need the VPN turned off. For example when using the hot spot to allow my laptop to connect to a corporate VPN.

  8. Make the width of the code block in the new docs ideal for display on screens in portrait mode. ie make the width wider.

    The new docs is awesome. I would like improvement on the code block as wider for portrait screens. I started with a document of 9 FOIA requests and I chose to separate each FOIA in a code block. Unfortunately the block gets too tight on portrait displays.

  9. Accessibility options under appearance settings

    Under the accessibility section of the appearance tab in settings, we have options for font family and size, but no option for letter/word spacing. It could be really helpful to those who suffer from nystagmus/blurred vision or dyslexia to be able to increase letter/word spacing to promote legibility.

    Example:
    0.05ch letter spacing (0.15ch word spacing)
    0.08ch letter spacing (0.24ch word spacing)
    0.10ch letter spacing (0.30ch word spacing)

    Obviously they couldn't go too much higher without causing potential text-wrapping issues in the UI, but an option other than the default would be welcome.

  11. Link standartnotes with calender

    Standartnotes is just new to proton but it would be nice if we could make a Link from the Calender to standartnotes or also to files in drive or to emails in the Mailsevices.
    But first add a contactsync please:-P

  12. Search by labels & keywords

    Since search is limited to basically only senders, recipients, subject lines, and dates I've found it the one really big issue I miss from Gmail etc. Create a freeform keyword entry field to search and maybe a pull down menu menu for often applied keywords would be handy. Also need to implement search by label.

  13. Allow me to set auto-delete trash to X number days/months/years

    I like the auto-delete feature for the trash, but I would like to keep things in my trash for longer then 30 days.

    Please provide more options or allow me to set a custom time period for auto-delete.

    Please make the width of the sidebar customizable for the web app. If you make extensive use of folders and labels, their names get truncated, which hurts usability.

  15. Include the version number of app in mail

    Recently I got a mail about a new Proton Mail Android app. I clicked the link to the google store and could choose to either uninstall or open the app.

    If the version number was included in the mail it would mean that I could compare it with the installed version to know if I have to watch for an update or if the update already is installed.

    I only want to activate 1 hotkey, the s-move to spam, i dont want all the other hotkeys. Why they should be there? For missclicks?

    1.) How can I forward my emails from Hotmail to Proton? Unfortunately, I can only find one option here: From Gmail to Proton. Please help me with this.

    2.) Proton advertises end-to-end encryption

  20. Option to collapse sidebar (mutual exclusive)

    Proposal:
    Make the sidebar of the web view manually collapsable.

    Details:
    This proposal is only about the function collapsing sidebar itself. This proposal is not about how this feature would be implemented on the UI.

    Note: The idea of collapsing is the same. However the author did also mention a concrete UI implementation in his idea, which might make voting difficult.
