Add event title in the email subject or notification preview instead of generic subject
I miss the option to directly see the event topic/title in the email subject or notification preview. Today, we only see a generic text and have to open the notification email or the calendar to see what this event is related to. I do not need the detailed information. However, the event title would be extremely helpful in an overbooked calendar.

Bring listed.to back to life. (It’s a bit dead in the water)
Bring listed.to back to life and make sure you can link domains again. I think a lot of people would like to see their blog back in a European environment, and standard notes with listed.to are perfect for this.
I'm even willing to help (for free!) if necessary. (I've been a programmer for 30 years, so I should be able to do it 😂 )2 votes -
Allow payment for Proton subscription plans before the due date
My renewal for Proton Duo is about a month away. I was looking on the Proton website for a way to pay for the next 12 months before the renewal date, but to no avail.

Multiple Account Support/Switching - General
Some combination of apps/platform allows for multi-account management/switching. Proton Mail does that across the board, Proton Drive does that in the browser but not on mobile, Proton Pass allows this on the desktop but not with the browser extension... Considering Proton is a suite of apps, all apps/platform should consistently allow multiple accounts switching/management regardless of the combination of apps/platform... Another similar feedback but product-based: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass-authenticator/suggestions/47485043-account-switching-for-browser-extension

apt update / upgrade for all Proton apps instead of manual update
Hi dear Proton team,
In order to facilitate Proton products adoption, it would be nice to generalize an easy way to update our beloved Proton tools.
Proton VPN has his apt update / upgrade process, it's easy and professional. To be frank, it's hard to promote Proton tools in companies if i have to explain that an IT guy has to download and install manually Proton Pass, Proton Mail and tomorrow Proton Drive on every computer each time there is an update.
Of course, Ansible exists and it could be easy to update automatically those products but you have to…2 votes -
Newsletters Disable Option
Please allow subscribers to disable Proton's annoying "Newletters" function. There is no reason for Proton to categorize emails in this manner unless you guys are keeping track of the types of emails people get and selling that info to marketers. It's invasive and akin to snooping on your part. If I needed an annoying "email categorizing" function, I would use gmail.

Feature Request [proton-mail-export-cli] Add --since and --filter-domain flags for scoped, incremental backups
Summary
Love the export tool and use it for regular business backups. Two small additions to the CLI would make it significantly more practical for recurring and domain-scoped use cases: a
--sinceflag to limit exports to a recent time window, and a--filter-domainflag to scope exports to a specific email domain.Proposed Flags
--since DATEExport only messages on or after a given date (ISO 8601).
./proton-mail-export-cli --operation backup --dir ./backup --since 2026-03-01--sinceis the established convention for this pattern across tools likegit log, journalctl, and most backup utilities, making it immediately intuitive. Why…

app lock
This is primarily focused on the desktop version of the application. On my iOS device, I can already require Face ID, but I’d love to see enhancements to the App Lock feature in Proton Mail and Authenticator. Specifically, adding the option to use biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) or a passcode would provide an extra layer of security and convenience. This would give users greater flexibility in protecting access to their 2FA codes while also aligning with best practices for securing sensitive applications.

Rename mobile apps
The current apps on Android all have the prefix "Proton <App>". Personally, I'm not a fan. My app drawer has all apps under the letter P and it doesn't matter what function the app has. I would expect Drive under D, Mail under M, Calender under C etc.
I would like the apps to be renamed to e.g. "Drive by Proton", translated to each language so the apps show up where the other apps with the corresponding function are.

I would love to see a single link to be able to update all the applications that can be used on any of my devices I have the Proton apps on.
I would love to see a single link to be able to update all the applications that can be used on any of my devices I have the Proton apps on.
I have Windows PCs, Linux workstations and multiple cell devices and it just takes a long time to update every app on every platform when a single script could update every platform's applications in a single run.3 votes -
Emergency access - read-only, customizing what they can see/access
1) https://proton.me/blog/emergency-access nor https://proton.me/support/emergency-access explains if emergency contact can change account password/key which they have accessed (taking over account). It does not explain any other protections.
2) Also the account owner should be able to limit emergency user access to read-only, maybe just for a limited time like 1-2 years, during which owner has ability to reset the emergency user access and they have to request again.
3) Owner should be able to limit access only to some services, like for example Drive or even certain folder of a Drive or Mail. This possibility I have not seen announced in…

Always connect to Proton Wallet using a password.
The Proton wallet should be more secure by enabling its two additional options:
2) Always require a password to log in to Proton Wallet, even if we are already logged in to another Proton application. Ideally with two-factor authentication.
1) Log out after a few minutes of inactivity.Context: I just realised that:
1) Even if I don't tick the ‘Remember me’ box, as soon as a session is open on the computer, I can log in to Proton Mail or Proton Wallet or other services without a password on the Vivaldi browser. This is still the case even after…6 votes -
Global Notification to all Trusted Persons When Someone Requested and Granted Emergency Access to a Proton Account
Further to another existing suggestion (https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/935538-accounts-payments/suggestions/50403483-allow-users-to-configure-an-email-to-be-sent-along), please consider
- Automatically notify all trusted persons that who (with their proton email address)
- Allow users to configure optional global notifications to all trusted persons when someone
requested and /or granted emergency access.
It would be particularly useful when Trusted persons do not know each other or they are at different geo-locations.
It would allow the trusted persons to work together, if necessary, to better handle the "emergency".

Bad Proton Mail UX
Proton Mail has multiple glitches that significantly reduce the practical utility of this email service.
- After years, Proton refuses to persist the Unread filter across inbox refreshes, new Web browser tabs, and application relaunches. Gmail does NOT have this unnecessary UX problem. My first experience opening Proton Mail immediately upsets me, every time.
- Sending emails often takes many, many seconds to complete, compared to other email services. Sending emails with Proton Mail feels sluggish.
- After several months of using Proton Mail, I discovered that dozens of my emails hadn't actuall been sent, they had all been stuck as drafts. This…

Lumo quality of life improvements

Mail: Read status corruption
Proton Mail very often screws up the read status.
When I navigate from an email back to my inbox, then the status remains unread.
Happens worst with the Proton Mail iOS/iPadOS mobile apps.
This bug has existed for years.
The Proton platform manages to be even buggier than Google and I wouldn't recommend Proton to my friends or family.
