How can we improve Proton?

    In this summer I bought an iPhone case from your store. I loved it very much. Stunning and high quality, the BEST iPhone case I've ever seen since 2009. Now I've got my iPhone X, please let me buy one for my iPhon X. I've emailed to shop at protonmail.com but no reply. Thanks.

  2. Reward users for filling out your surveys

    If you want to build up community involvement make the yearly email survey a benefit.

    Reward those that complete the survey with a feature or increased limit. DropBox did this for referrals and it really helped to grow their business. I would target a yahoo email users and look at adding tools to make it easier to dump a long time email address for a new proton one.

  4. Proton Photos

    It would be fantastic to make a full switch from google. This includes mail and storage, primarily photos. It would be good to pay for storage to store apps and sync photos to them knowing that they are secure.

    Protonmail should be federated.

    Why has it never been discussed? It seems silly that Protonmail only works with Protonmail, there should be a open federated standard all encrypted email providers can use together.

    In a perfect world, you could use easy automated encryption between providers like Protonmail, Tutanota and Mailpile. You would even be able to easily host your own email server that adheres to this standard.

    Please make it happen.

  7. Remove social media links from ProtonMail website

    Social media links are used for tracking.
    People can still share about ProtonMail without using social media links.
    I hope social media links don't end up in users email accounts.

  8. Work with Tutanota so ProtonMail and Tutanota users can communicate privately

    The resulting larger set of people that can communicate with each other would benefit both services and their privacy. The more people that are available for encrypted mail, the more people are willing to invest time to switch.

  9. I would appreciate somewhere a listing of accessibility tips for folks with low vision.

    I find the web font readable and love the fact that ProtonMail does not get totally screwed up if I enlarge the screen (ctrl+). If you've ever had to "reset" your browser due to uneven enlargement, you know what I am talking about! I am surprised that there is no "help" category called "accessibility." That said, maybe those of us affected could compile of list of tips and tricks we found useful. I personally just discovered keyboard shortcuts are turned on by default. This explains why emails disappear into thin air. Save yourself a headache and go turn that off!…

  13. HIPAA compliance certification

    Many doctors would like a way to communicate securely with their patients. Doctors don't know how to evaluate products such as ProtonMail - they rely on certifications from 3rd-party agencies that the product meets HIPAA requirements.

    ProtonmaiI is too long, Pmail (similar to gmail and ymail) on the other hand would be a lot simpler, quicker and easier to remember

  16. Counter for Swiss government administrative requests

    TL;DR: Counter-page/Counter on homepage with the TOTAL of Swiss Government wiretapping requests to create twitter-shitstorm against the law and inform surveillance targets (e.g. whistleblowers)

    Under Swiss legislation (SR 780.1 - BÜPF) one can`t prevent the state peeking into ones mailbox if they have a legit court order. And neither are service providers allowed to DIRECTLY report such a access/wiretapping to their user.

    Therefore I propose to introduce a "Lawful Access Statistics"-page (similar to https://kolabnow.com/privacy/statistics) which shows the TOTAL of all law-forced administrative requests. Further there should be a newsletter/RSS for changes on this page and a tweet-button to tweet…

  17. CRM and related integrations

    Erring toward the SMB tier, integrate with CRM vendors that have come up per Gmail integration. Examples being Streak, Contactually etc. ... Smaller, nimbler freemium vendors working to take turf from Salesforce et al. Then, perhaps rinse and repeat with other, more automation oriented platforms. Integrations are key to winning over privacy conscious business users.
