2. Connection attempt notifications (even when wrong password)

   I have recently been the target of malicious persons who managed to access personal accounts (Proton non included) and I thought it would be nice if there were an option to be warned of every connection attempt to my Proton account.

3. Calendar and Drive icon too similar

   The calendar and drive icon are too similar, for accessibility, the tiny numbers on the Calendar icon really do not separate the overall look between the two app icons. Your Mail icon looks like an M, your first and main product but then you deviate from that style to regular icons to represent the other apps. Would it be quick and easy just to enlarge the numbers on the Calendar icon to help see the difference between the drive and calendar apps?

5. Simplelogin alias available directly from the compose window iOS/android

   It should be much much easier to create an alias for contacting random entities.

   If one clicks on a link which opens ones email client, one has to to go through several hoops just to set up and send an email them from a SL alias. Especially on a mobile device this is a massive pita.

   When composing, when one taps the 'from' section, along with ones regular email addresses there should be a random SL address to choose instead.

6. Ability for subscribers to disable ads completely

   I think an app that's supposed to be running almost always, should not be disrupting the use of the device.

   I see an unusual activity whenever there's offers, where Proton VPN icon shows up on the taskbar. I clicked it to end up knowing that it's just an "ad" for the ongoing offer that I won't be trying.

   It doesn't end up there, whenever I need to open the app during the time an offer is live, I have to take an extra step of closing off a pop-up of the said ad. I can't even disable it.

   I was enjoying being able to actually pay for the service that gives you a completely free version to try, and the enjoyment lost the charm gradually over the Black Friday and the End of the Year season. Should you really do it this way?

7. mail.proton.me should automatically login to last accessed mailbox rather than redirect to account.proton.me/switch

   Current UI: mail.proton.me redirects to account.proton.me/switch and from there after you pick up one, it redirects to https://mail.proton.me/u/<UID>/inbox , e.g. https://mail.proton.me/u/41/inbox

   Instead: mail.proton.me should go directly to the latest accessed mailbox.

8. Search by labels & keywords

   Since search is limited to basically only senders, recipients, subject lines, and dates I've found it the one really big issue I miss from Gmail etc. Create a freeform keyword entry field to search and maybe a pull down menu menu for often applied keywords would be handy. Also need to implement search by label.

    When "conversation mode" is selected, the "Inbox" and "Sent" folders contain discussions including both incoming and outgoing mails.
    Only unanswered messages (sent or received) need to go through both folders to be followed up. (But they can be found in "All messages")

    The whole thing is a bit confusing.

    What would you think, for this "conversation mode", of grouping (or enabling to be grouped by an option) the two folders "Inbox" and "Sent" into a single folder "Conversations" ?

    Eventually, two labels automatically added, "Received" and "Sent", could differentiate messages in conversations and make them easier to find.

11. follow intended username capitalization

    It's really a silly UI change. The welcome message on the email column layout capitalizes the first letter of non-capitalized username and it really bother me.

12. Keyboard shortcut to change font size / zoom

    In the ProtonMail app on Windows 10, when drafting or viewing an email, I am unable to use CTRL+wheel or CTRL+/- key to increase/decrease the size of the font. If you do not have this change in progress, please add this to the features in ProtonMail app. Thank you.

15. Perspective on Proton's Product Development

    I observe that a predominant number of individuals are expressing similar desires, primarily focused on new additions to the Proton product line. These range from requests for a Proton-managed and optimized SearXNG instance, functioning as a search engine, to surprising appeals for a new operating system.

    While some of these ideas possess merit, they seem somewhat disconnected from the actual needs of both individuals and businesses. As a Visionary account holder, I utilize Proton to address the requirements of both my family and my company. In both contexts, there are more critical features missing in Proton's offerings than the introduction of an entirely new operating system. Our objective shouldn't be to reinvent the wheel. However, most individuals, despite having the necessary skills, lack the time to manage:

    Their own mail server (e.g., Roundcube);
    A combined contact, cloud drive, and co-editing platform (such as NextCloud);
    An e-meeting platform (like Jitsi);
    A personal password manager (KeePass);
    A private messaging protocol (Matrix).
    

    Users like us prefer to focus our energies on our areas of expertise without compromising privacy.

    Proton is the company closest to realizing this vision, yet there remains a significant gap. This proximity is not necessarily due to being the best in its field (which might be the case, but that is not my primary concern) but because the team has earned our trust.

    I am generally reluctant to write or request features, as there are professionals employed by our contributions who are tasked with exactly this. Moreover, as this forum indicates, customers often do not precisely know what they need.

    From my dual perspective as a family man and a business owner, I have recently transitioned our company's suite from Google to NextCloud, while managing family email and calendars with Proton. However, these systems do not integrate seamlessly. I would prefer to consolidate everything under Proton, but this is currently infeasible due to the absence of:

    Integrated meeting and calendar solutions (akin to Jitsi and NextCloud Calendar);
    Contact backup capabilities;
    Co-editing features (attempts to collaborate on files saved in Proton Drive via LibreOffice have proven challenging).
    

    These are my primary requirements.

    Given that my company fully embraces and supports Open Source software, I would also appreciate greater attention to Linux distributions.

    I recognize that Linux holds a minimal market share and do not expect Proton's developers to focus exclusively on porting applications to Debian, Android, or HarmonyNext (the latter of which my company is keenly exploring).

    In conclusion, I encourage the Proton Team to continue their excellent work. There is always room for improvement, as is the case with any endeavor.

16. Allow Custom fonts - for improved readability and accessibility (and power users)

    Provide the option of custom fonts on Mobile/Web and font size control.
    This technically can fall under parts of the "theme", however it is also part of accessibility.

    As a User, I want to have the most clear fonts possible to make reading my emails easier, so that I use this app more.

    As a power user, I have seen people struggling to find extremely readable fonts like the old Blackberry Font from the BB-Alpha font.

    Whilst you would attract more business/power users from this throwback font, I think it might be easier to let them choose/add the font for themselves and simply offer the option of some defaults, but let them import/embed a font in their application.

    I'm saying this because I would pay an extra fee to allow custom fonts to make my experience even better on Android tablet and iPhone.

    I propose with encryption to decentrakise proton network by rooting each connections in a decentralized way, use community to ebable their connections in order Proton can use it to decentraliize proton network connection (exactly same kind of Tor Network but in clearnet as Session app does)

18. Clipboard manager & sync

    It would be good to have the ability to securely synchronize the clipboard between devices. Sometimes we need to copy an email, password, TOTP crypto wallet address, ... on one app and paste it in another. The copy/paste can sometimes be cross devices. There are currently very limited options for end-to-end encrypted clipboard synchronization services.
    The tool could also keep an encrypted history of all data, instead of relying on the OS.
    Such tool could be a standalone app, or it could be integrated into the native apps of Proton Drive or Pass (when it gets a native app).

19. Create limited passwords to access certain parts of a Proton account

    Summary:
    Allow users to create a second, "limited" password for their Proton account, which would only provide access to limited data (e-mails and Proton Pass data) of their choosing.

    How it would work:

    1. A user creates a limited password for their account and chooses which of their Proton e-mail addresses and Proton Pass data are accessible with it.

    2. Upon logging in with the limited password, only those selected addresses (and associated messages and data) and Proton Pass passwords are visible and accessible.

    3. Other e-mail addresses and Proton Pass data remain completely hidden and inaccessible.

    Purpose:
    Limited passwords would help users better protect their most sensitive data by only allowing access to and knowledge of data which the user has deemed less sensitive.

    This would help users protect their data in the following scenarios:
    - When forced to reveal their password under duress.
    - When users need to allow family and next of kin to access their data in emergency situations.
    - When logging in on devices or networks that can't be fully trusted.

    Note:
    To protect against duress, limited passwords should be implemented in such a way that when using them to log in, an attacker cannot determine if the password provided by the user is a limited password or the full password.

    Summary:
