Is Meet going to be the app that will incorprate chat? It's funny how this has been around since 2015, but the app that got built was a video conferencing platform with chat as a sidebar.

Any service not based in the US would be welcomed by the rest of the world. Messaging especially.

With Evernote’s large price increase it’s hard to justify. But proton notes using proton drive and Lumo for AI integration would be very compelling.
100% agree with last post. SN hard to test without committing and in 2025 the UI is lacking.

Yes, it was an odd way to release. I stumbled across it and had to work out what was going on apart from a minimalist single page.

AI - I would like to see an AI chat as an function in the sidebar - user can then query all Proton services in their account in plain language. Or, issue a command to access data from multiple sources.
e.g. Find all emails from A that are about B.
e.g. Find all images of X in Drive, add to an Email to Y, write a short note saying I'll see you DATE, and schedule an email to send on date.
All these things can be done, but AI just pulls it together and makes it simple.

Work on this feature request is underway, starting with iOS.
🗓️ A new calendar invite widget shows the main event info in all emails that contain event invites. Tapping on it takes you to the #ProtonCalendar app directly from your inbox.

It's hard to see what Proton users get from this joining of forces. Notesnook is the better product to me, and cheaper than SN. Join forces with them and integrate Drive, Calendar, and Lumo there. What portion of my Proton fee goes to improving SN, which I can't use other than a very limited Free version? I'm certainly not paying for SN in addtion to Proton.
