Proton and Standard Notes are joining forces: https://proton.me/blog/proton-standard-notes-join-forces
An error occurred while saving the comment Badboy commentedI hope that Proton improves this notes service, because compared to Obsidian, Anytype, AFFiNE... it's far inferior in terms of features and design. SN looks like dated software.

Does Proton Drive include document editing (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)?

A simple notes solution is not sustainable. There are hundreds of applications that are infinitely better than a simple notepad. Proton should try collaborative (and personal) documents along the lines of what is possible with the aforementioned competitors.

There is great potential with the acquisition. But, as I mentioned, it's still far from being a satisfactory solution to the main note-taking app competitors, nor is this acquisition an alternative for working with documents such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and so on; the whole Microsoft Office and Google Workspace package.
