    Sigh...At the pace that proton develops stuff for Linux, you'd be best off by using browsers that already exist, I mean, Gecko, Chromium, choose your flavor there are many, Hardened Firefox + UBlock origin is the norm at this point.

    NewPipe, Piped, There are a lot of privacy respecting youtube frontends out there, no need to keep making more and more stuff.

    I will say why they should NOT make a signal app, and that is because there are already VERY good alternatives, Signal alone is very great, there's also SimpleX (No phone number required), Matrix, and for the hardcores you can use Briar or Cwtch.... Seriously, Proton should focus on improving it's services rather than keep expanding.
