I agree that the ability to have Mail and Calendar open in two separate windows would be a welcome feature! Be it two standalone apps or one app with multiple windows.
Also, I would like to be able to make at least the Calendar window way smaller, so I can put it on the side of my task manager in Day view.

I agree that it would be good to be able to synchronize calendar colors. However, I think this should be a toggle in the 'share settings'. And even better if it were two toggles: one for sharing the default calendar color and one for sharing individual event colors. Because sometimes we want to choose our own color and sometimes we want to have the same color synced :)

+1. Would be nice to be able to configure both start and end time so your view is focused on where 95% of your events are put.
Also, in conjunction with this: being able to set 'resolution' or 'zoom' or something like that, so you can choose between having everything in one view without scrolling and zooming in so you need to scroll down for the rest of the day.

Especially in trash and spam, it would be nice if there were options for say 60 or 90 days or even a custom number.

It's good that you can search for mails in specific folders, but to my knowledge you can only select one to search in. In multiple occasions I was in need of it being able to search in multiple folders at once or in every folder except a specified one.
