Would be nice for Proton VPN to automatically connect over open Wi-Fi networks, as soon as internet connectivity is possible (that is, account for portals).
Would be nice for Proton VPN to automatically disconnect when leaving Wi-Fi and going over cellular (unless this is made optional).
As well, whitelists and blacklists of Wi-Fi networks would be nice. No point of running a VPN when I am at my home or my work (although some may wish to run VPNs when at work). Whitelist would list networks for which automatic VPN is not required while blacklists would list networks when VPN is required.
Perhaps also consider whether VPN bypass should be allowed on some blacklisted Wi-Fis. Perhaps instead of whitelist and blacklist woul dbe a per-Wi-Fi network profile that lets the user select whether it is automatic, bypass is allowed, killswitch is activated, etc.
