Autofill from extension after search
I've saved more than 200 login items for single website. All are for different companies and all are legit. So when I'm using proton pass it shows me drop-down with 200 login items for that site - there's no search field.. So I would love to use keyboard shortcut to open extension and then use search field and press on wanted item to autofill. And the moment all I can do is scroll in that drop-down and look for one correct item or use search in extension and then manually copy and paste credentials, which is nonsense.

Ignore Microsoft Authenticator "passwords" (Android)
I cannot avoid using Microsoft Authenticator for work.
But whenever I use it to enter a one-time code, Proton Pass pops up and offers to save the "password".
This is where the online service will pop up a two-digit number, and then the authenticator asks you to type the same number. And then unlock with biometrics. And then let you into thAe online service.
It would be slightly less annoying if Proton Pass could just ignore it.

Unlock Windows desktop app with 2FA
There are already feature requests for a Desktop App and Biometric Sign-In.
Combining this all together, I can unlock Windows via my phone's biometrics. With that, I would have 2FA.
Factor 1: Ownership (Phone)
Factor 2: Biometrics251 votes -
Multiple accounts / logins for Proton Pass
I have multiple Proton accounts (for work and private) and I would like to see that Proton Pass can have multiple accounts logged in.
In the same way that Proton Mail works; you can "Add another account" and can easily switch between these accounts. And I would like to see the same behavior for Proton Pass (and preferably the browser extension).13 votes -
Password Autofill for Mac
Impossible to use on Mac, due to the inability of ProtonPass to autofill entries. I would like to change from RoboForm (that works flawlessly), because ProtonPass has other features that RoboForm doesn't. Not having autofill for Mac is CRITICAL for me to begin using ProtonPass.

Domain URL matching rules
Proton pass should have URL matching rules like bitwarden. This makes it easier to handle different usecases.
For instance, at work I have different usernames/passwords on different subdomains and I would like to be able to limit certain credentials to specific subdomains and have others shared accross multiple subdomains. So that would be great to have a diffrent matching rules like:
- root domain
- hostname
- starts with
- regex
- exact match

Burner Phone Number
Create burner phone numbers for websites, similar to the email aliases. With the phone numbers, they could then receive verification codes.

Support regional date formats
Currently, dates always display in the American format (MMMM DD YYYY), which is completely backwards in my region of the world. Quite surprising considering Proton is a European company! Please support proper regionalisation.

Unlocking browser extension when unlocking the desktop app (connect Proton Pass desktop with Proton Pass in the browser)
IMO it would be great if you could connect the Proton Pass desktop app with the browser extension.
(Coming from 1Password it's a feature I'm missing. That's the name of the setting there:
"Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app: When the extension and the desktop app are connected, they lock and unlock together. Biometrics will be used if available.")152 votes -
Authenticator web app
It was great to see Authenticator launch with apps on every platform. It’d be great to see that rounded out with a web app, e.g. authenticator.proton.me. I have hundreds of codes and the app reaches a point where management and scaling becomes more difficult to do on mobile. A web app would give some freedom for managing codes on the desktop without necessarily needing to install an app (or in scenarios where it’s not possible to install one).

Folders and nested subfolders
I want to be able to use folders and sub-folders. I use strongbox on iOS which is based on keepass. It allows for as many folders and sub-folders that you want. I use folders to keep my stuff organized. I don't like having all my passwords and whatever in one big long list. I also using keepass as a bookmark manager. I really like the idea of your "vaults", but again I have over like 3000 bookmarks and folders are really needed. Also attachments with built in viewer is also important. I like to convert a lot of websites to…

Re-order custom fields in Proton Pass
Currently, you can add additional fields to an entry in Proton Pass but you cannot move them around. Sometimes, you may add additional notes out of order and wish to order them after entry. The only way to achieve this is to add a new field and then delete the old one. Please provide the ability to re-order added fields.

Authenticator groups
When you have many codes, it would we very helpful to have a way to group them. Consider to add a grouping feature, at least one level of grouping, to help users organizing codes.

Unlimited 2FA for free accounts
The MFA shouldn’t be a paying feature for proton pass or any other proton app. This type of security nowadays are crucial to improve the protections of our account, to me there is nothing that would justify MFA being a paid feature.

View password in extra large type
One of the things that I liked about 1Password (on both desktop and mobile) was the option to view a password in extra large type. So if I need to manually type it in (rather than copy / pasting, which isn't always an option), I can more easily see the characters.
Bonus for making different character types (capital letters, lower case letters, numbers, symbols) different colors, so the difference between lower-case-L and upper-case-I and the number 1 are obvious!

linked passwords
Ability to link the password from an entry to different entries that, maybe, differ for the username structure.
I'm referring to different services (firewall, exchange server, web application) that use, for example, ldap (same user and same password) but with different username format (username, domain\username, username@domain.tld).
Changing the user password would result in a single entry change (the base entry) in Proton Pass.
All the other entries would inheritate the new password.8 votes -
to obscure the “Note” field
I would like to suggest a feature for Proton Pass.
The suggestion is to add the option to obscure the “Note” field with a button similar to the “Hide/Show” button in the ‘Password’ field, in addition to the option to start with the “Note” field obscured.
Thank you.

Contacts
I would like to see the ability to store and save Contact information. Having all of my contacts saved in a service like Google Contacts is useful, but overwhelming and unnecessary at times. With Proton Pass, I could create contacts that I don't need to pop up everytime I send an email or am looking for someone specific. For instance, It would work great with Vaults, being able to organize and share with others, as well as being able to have an archive of contacts that I no longer use or regularly need. Not to mention that it would be…

Encrypted file attachments on export
When exporting data from Proton Pass in the encrypted PGP format with the "Include file attachments" option enabled, the resulting ZIP file contains attachments that remain unencrypted. This means that while the main vault data is encrypted, the attachments within the ZIP file are not.
Currently, Proton Pass does not offer an option to encrypt or password-protect the ZIP file containing the attachments.

Two Passwords to Avoid the Hammer Attack Scenario
I would like to see the option in Proton Pass to use "either" of two passwords.
If you use password #1 Proton Pass would work as it usually does.
If you use Password #2, Proton Pass would only display certain records that have been tagged by the user.
The purpose of this would be to help prevent a successful "Wrench Attack".
If threatened physically to log into your account, you could use password #2 and minimize the loss of your data.
This would be similar to methods used on some crypto wallets. Here's an article on Wrench Attacks for reference.
