How Can I Export Yahoo Mail to PST on a New Computer?
Setting up a new computer often means making sure important email records remain accessible. Creating a separate mailbox backup helps preserve business correspondence, personal messages, and attachments for future use. Before beginning, confirm your Yahoo account access and choose a secure location with enough space to store the exported data.
The Aryson Yahoo Backup Tool offers options for backing up Yahoo mailbox data in supported formats. Users can configure the export settings to suit their backup needs and save a separate copy for later access.
If you need to export Yahoo mail to PST, choose PST as the output format when available, enter the required account details, and start the backup process. Once complete, check the resulting file for important messages and attachments. Keep the original Yahoo account accessible until you verify that the exported data is complete and can be used as expected.

Option to adjust vertical density in Calendar mobile app
In the Google Calendar app, I can see from 8am to 11pm in one screen. In the Proton Calendar app, I can only see from 8am to 5pm without scrolling. Ability to adjust the vertical density, such as by pinching on the times on the left side of the screen, would let me see more of my day at a glance.

Option to adjust text size in Calendar mobile app
In the weekly view in the mobile calendar app, the text in the event blocks is bigger than I would prefer, causing even short event titles to have words split between lines. Ability to reduce text size would make my events easier to read at a glance.
Example: Event titled WCR shows as:
WC
RIf I could make the text a little smaller it could all fit on one line.

timezone for each event
Each event needs to be able to have its own timezone selected. Now that business is global the calendar needs to be able to be useful in more than one (or two) timezones. Currently, there is no function to select the timezone for the event you are entering (they all just appear to be saved under the timezone of the calendar) which is not useful or effective. Have the timezone next to the date/time drop down selected for each event.

Move email to recently used folder
Like in Outlook, it would be great to have an option to quickly select a folder to move an email to. Let's say I just moved an email from my Inbox to a folder named 'Family' and shortly thereafter I come across another email that I would like to move to that same folder. Instead of scrolling all the way to the folder Family (which can take a while if you have a long list of folders), it would be convenient to have a menu with the e.g. 5 folder last used and to click on the relevant one to quickly move the email.

Aliases in From Dropdown
In the "From" dropdown for creating an email, place all Aliases in there as options from which to choose. Currently I have my primary Proton email address and my Gmail address. Would love the Aliases as well.

Fix contacts presented when typing into the To: field in Proton Mail app for iOS
I'm creating a new email message in the Proton Mail app for iOS (iphone 16+).
I start typing in the To: field ... the contacts I see there bear little to no relationship to the letters I've typed until about the third character.
If the contacts I see were influenced by the recent messages I've sent, or to the spelling of email addresses, the choices would be more useful than whatever approach is currently used.1 vote -
subfolders
There is currently not the option to create subfolders to aid organization. The feedback I have read has been marked completed but it is not actually showing up as an option. Within a folder you should be able to create as many subfolders as needed to organize data... currently, you can only add one folder under a main folder and there is no conceivable way to organize them (you can't even move them around to the order you choose). For example, 1) Main folder; 1a) sub folder 1a main, with 1a1) sub folder 1a1, 1a2) sub folder 1a2, 1a3) sub folder 1a3; 1b) sub folder 1b main, with 1b1) sub folder 1b2, 1b2) sub folder 1b2, 1b3) sub folder 1b3; etc.
You should also be able to import mail categories directly into the folder/subfolders opposed to the current label system (which doesn't quite make sense to me yet). The labels are disorganized and don't follow the same system from how they were organized before despite the names clearly showing the system of organization.

Proton Mail footer: select language indipendently from UI interface language
Currently, the language of the Proton Mail email footer matches the 'Default Language' setting found in Settings > Language. It would be beneficial to decouple the language used for the post-authentication user interface from the language used for external-facing texts, such as the email footer.

Improve visibility for multi-day appointments in widget
Now a multi-day appointment (the kids staying at their grandparents over night for instance) shows up in the widget as two instances. One for each day.
It would be very useful if these was merged into one instance with duration at a glance.

Android: Always display emails in light mode while keeping the app in dark mode
Please add a setting to control the email content theme independently from the app theme on Android.
I would like to keep the app interface in dark mode while always displaying email content in light mode, preserving the original colors and formatting.
The existing “View message in light mode” option requires manually switching each email. Please allow users to make this the default for all emails.

Use Proton Calendar (on iOS) without signing in
I would love to be able to use Proton Calendar without signing in, just as a simple phone calendar for reference.
I use my smartphone like a dumbphone and I do not need a logged in calendar with synced events. I just need and want a simple private local calendar.

Support BIMI & Gravatar similar to Fastmail
It is much easier to thumb through emails using Fastmail since most emails have an avatar. Proton only uses favicons which either don't show up or are low quality, even with popular domains like Google. Instead, Proton should use BIMI logos or Gravatar when they are available, then fall back to favicons when it's the only option. Since some people might have privacy concerns with Gravatar, that should be optional or it can be routed through Proton's servers similar to how they do with favicons.

Truly native macOS app instead of an Electron-based one.
The recent release triggers a Keychain access prompt every time the app launches. Loading an entire browser-based runtime feels unnecessarily heavy, especially on Macs with Limited Memory.
A native app built with Swift and AppKit could offer better memory efficiency, faster startup, and deeper integration with macOS features like Keychain. For a company focused on privacy, a lightweight, well-integrated native app would also inspire greater confidence in the overall user experience.1 vote -
