Filter Categories/Sub Filters
When adding entries into a filter, allow to create sub filters. This would be useful if: The domain has multiple addresses, and they could be filtered to go where they need to go. You could keep the max 50 main filters, but you could have a higher limit of sub filters. You could also create Filter categories, where you could add various domains. This would be similar to sub filters, but you could define/have more granular control of where this and that mail can go. It could also be a simple way to know what those addresses for.

Custom Calendar and Email Notification Sounds
We really need to have the ability to customize the sound of the notifications in both Proton Calendar and Proton Mail. There’s currently no options at all in the apps for iOS/iPadOS so we’re left with just a ‘ding’ that very easily gets missed. For these apps to be useful we need to be able to tailor notification sounds (customize the default sounds for each app, set custom sounds for specific contacts, set custom sounds per event and/or calendar, etc.). Select all emalis matching a search
Again... seems like this would be on a "required for day one" list but - we need the ability to perform a search and select all matching results. Currently there is a 'first page' or 'all' on a Folder and Label level - but it needs to be more granular - while still allowing to select more than 50 results.

Notifications in-app
There's a white pop up that appears when you delete an email. Two problems with it. One, it covers up the toolbar at the bottom of the app. If I delete an email and decide to delete another one, I have to wait for the popup to disappear first. Can it be moved higher so it doesn't cover the toolbar? The second issue is that it's a white background while in dark mode. This looks really out-of-place. Thsnks for considering!

Allow Dynamic BCC insertion for CRMs
A feature that exists in Gmail and others is the ability to add a dynamic BCC address to emails. While there may be various reasons for doing so the use case cited most often is to log the communication into a CRM system.
I use a CRM to track certain communication and often am adding the CRM into the BCC line to ensure the communication gets logged properly. Since this requires memory I know that I and others consistently forget to BCC the CRM on important client emails.

Ability to Add and Switch Accounts in Calendar on Android without having to logout each time. Just like the Mail app works on Android.

Do Not Delete Emails to Myself When Deleted from Sent and Trash
When I send an email to myself, my Proton account email, I have two copies of the message, one in Sent and one in Inbox, when I try to cleanup my Sent folder and delete the message from that folder, it moves it to Trash and the message in my Inbox is still there, but when I empty Trash, the message is also removed from my Inbox which should not happen.

Calendar Frames
This is something I saw in Morgen calendar that I really like. Frames are just like normal events but they act as some sort of background or container for actual events. Instead of taking up space like real events, they live behind them and are faded, so the actual events can be seen on top of them or in them.
This can be used to mark time like 'work time' or something like that.

Add option to remove icon colors next to e-mails on iOS
Next to e-mails, there is the icon of the sender. Sometimes the logo of the company, but more often the first letter. This used to have no color, but now it does in the new iOS app. This distracts from the overall look and feel of the app. It would be nice to have the option to remove these colors, just like it was in the old version of the iOS app.

Make swiping more fluid, just like in the old Proton Mail app on iOS
In the old version of the Proton Mail app on iOS, you could easily swipe a message to delete it. Now, when you want to delete a message by a quick swipe, it stops and shows you the bin icon. Only when swiping again, or clicking the bin icon, it deletes. This is not as intuitive and by far not as satisfying.

ability to invite others to event of which you are not the organizer
Example: my friend invites me to dinner and i would like to forward the proton calendar event to my partner. however, as i am not the event organizer, this is currently not possible. all other larger email and calendar provider incl outlook and gmail allow for this basic functionality.

Korean Language Search Feature
Please improve the "SEARCH" feature for Korean language emails. Unlike English when searching for words or characters in Korean the search bar doesn't pull up relevant characters or remains blank unable to search more than 80% of the time. It is also unable to search the correspondent by Korean name. It should be able to pull up results for all relevant email titles, contents, names, etc. when searching in Korean language as well.

filtering to delete mail from archive that do not have a label.
Archive can become huge. Some items are labeled, and I want to keep them forever. Other items are not labeled, and I want to occasionally purge them.
I would like to apply a filter to see all unlabeled email in archive older that 1 year. I can then select some or all for deletion.

Automatic deletion of emails for specific labels after a certain amount of time
I need to schedule automatic deletion of emails (like for instance emails older than 30 days, 3 months, etc.) when having a specific label.
The reason is that I receive on a daily basis 100 to 200 automated emails that I need to store for some time, but I would like to have them deleted after a certain period of time, instead of doing it manually.4 votes -
Label confirmation
A recent change to the interface now makes labeling emails counterintuitive. When I select a label to apply to an email, I have to press the "Move" button to apply the change - but the email doesn't move anywhere; it just gets labeled. I would like to continue to be able to apply labels to emails without moving them anywhere - I just want you to change the wording on the confirmation button back to "Apply", which is a clearer description of what is actually going to happen when I press it.

Notification for particular account, not generic
If I turn notification on (Android, S24+), it gives me notifications for BOTH my independent protonmail accounts. I only want notifications from ONE of the accounts and I'd like to ignore the other. Is there a way to add a feature that has notifications for only one account?
Followup, is there a way to make this even more granular. That is, only add notifications sent to a particular email address?

Visionary: Allow More Custom Domains
As a Visionary member, I can add 10 custom domains. I need more and want secure email for all of them. Please allow extra domains or offer a paid add-on. Unlimited isn’t essential, but higher or flexible limits would help people move their whole setup to Proton. Strict caps like this drive people away, which is a shame given the need for robust privacy services in today's less private world.

Edit Existing Folders in Proton Mail Mobile Applications
I would like to request the ability to edit existing folders directly within the Proton Mail mobile applications. Currently, users can create new folders, but there is no option to rename or move existing ones (at least on Apple devices). Currently, editing folders has to be done either in the web app or the desktop application
