  1. CHAT CONTROL from EU

European Union is willing to install a control over the chats and emails. How will this affect the PROTON's users?

  2. Fix problems with uncontrollable font sizes when composing emails ASAP!

I contacted support a couple of weeks ago to let them know about a font size issue when composing emails- the font size changes itself when I try to type any email (and always to a smaller hard to see size). The problem was acknowledged and I was told that others have reported the same problem. I was told that the issue would be corrected, but as of today the issue still has not been resolved. As a paying customer, I expect problems like this to be corrected. As it stands now, typing emails has become a real chore. This…

  3. Single User session Only

( unhappy protonmail staff delete my previous entry)

Session Management does not work properly.
Proton sentinel is Unnecessary . A single sessions only would solve the problem the other two are trying to address.
Unless yo want to trade off privacy and security for convenience.

  4. I want to forward emails from my wordpress email to protonmail

I have a wordpress email account. I just want to be able to forward that mail into protonmail. It seems possible with gmail - why not other providers?

  5. Allow to use Bridge CLI in SMTP-only mode

Currently, Bridge seems to be caching the whole inbox when connected to an account. This makes it inefficient as a SMTP server (too much storage is used). SMTP-only would be enough for a notification service, e.g. on a NAS.
It would be great to have an option to disable email fetching (IMAP) for this use case and provide just the SMTP server.

This idea could be probably realized in a form of option switch for the login command of the Bridge CLI.

  6. Better general support sending encrypted mail outside of protonmail

What currently exists appears to be sufficient, but it is not nearly as good as it could be. I have seen other posts that request these ideas before, and I would like to amalgamate them here.

Lookup public keys through external services, such as keys.openpgp.org

Safety indicator to ensure the e-mail you are sending is encrypted when sending to non protonmail contacts

Allowing encryption to be managed with an external application through proton bridge, (including a confirmation dialog on proton bridge to prevent accidentally sending unencrypted e-mail)

Any of the above ideas would enhance the experience that is currently available,…

  7. Any A-List or Selective E-mails from to receive from specific users?

I would like to suggest to add a feature for premium customer's to only receive those e-mails that strictly you can add on a special list instead to avoid and receive lot's of spam mail and stuff like other regular emails clients out there

  8. Add arch-keyring support for Protonmail Bridge

I'm really glad to have Bridge on Linux, but I use an Arch based distribution and find it frustration to have to use the Gnome Keyring when all my other passkeys are handled by the Arch keyring.

Maybe there's a way to make it work that I didn't see, but if that isn't the case would adding arch-keyring support be a possibility ?

    Many thanks.

  9. Improved Sticky Labeling Options for Email Threads

I've encountered an issue regarding sticky labels applied to email threads. Once a label is applied to a thread, the only options available are to either remove it from the entire thread or to individually unlabel subsequent emails as they come in.

This became particularly noticeable when I migrated to Proton Mail and imported messages from other platforms. While the initial batch of imported emails were appropriately labeled as "Imported", I noticed that new emails coming into those threads afterward also automatically received the "Imported" label.

It would be helpful to have an option to prevent this auto-labeling for subsequent…

  10. Possibility to add more folders

I understand that you're not getting money by selling our data but Proton basic plan is so poor. For example, we can only add 3 folders. I wanted to switch from Gmail to Protonmail but even that is blocking me from doing so. I think, over time, when you add new features, some old features which were paid should come free to get more user base.

  11. Add an identity verification method named "Verification Phrase".

When you add this feature called "Verification Phrase" then every user has a "Verification Phrase". At that time one proton user can verify another proton user's identity through his/her proton "Verification Phrase".

Then the proton's privacy will be riched more. Thanks, I believe that this feature is available ASAP for user privacy.

  12. Add a recovery method named "Recovery Key".

When you add a recovery method named "Recovery Key" then the proton's privacy will be riched. If someone is privacy-focused and he/she don't add an email or phone number for the recovery method, he/she will download or copy the "Recovery Key".

Thanks, I believe that this feature is available ASAP for user privacy. Because the proton mail is privacy-based. They value user privacy at first.

  13. Outlook for IOS

I am considering moving our domain to Proton, however some users require Outlook for IOS. Are there plans for Outlook /IOS to access Proton mail? either by POP or IMAP?

  14. Multiline links click area / line height

    I'm on Firefox, Windows 11.
I think long multiline links in ProtonMail should be set as "display: inline-block" or similar so that the whole link is clickable despite the line height (space between lines)

  15. Add Todoist forwarding email to contact list

Todoist allows users to convert emails into Todoist tasks. A unique forwarding address is generated for each project in the user's account. Unfortunately, when I tried adding my unique forwarding address to my Proton account contracts, Proton rejected the address as invalid. I would like Proton to either recognize the forwarding address for what it is or add a new box line, along with TO, CC, and BCC. Let's call it "FA" for a forwarding address; this will allow Proton to recognize ToDoists' forwarding addresses.

FYI, I tried login into the customer feedback page with my Proton account, but it…

  16. Filter on specific characteristics (and then being able to perform a bulk action as move to archive or delete)

It would be amazing if of all mail we have in our folders (especially when one has used the smart-import to move away from other mail providers) can be filtered on specific items as age (e.g. select all mails between 2000-2020) or filesize (all mails with attachments larger then 2 MB) et cetera to be able to select and perform a bulk action on them (bulk delete for example). So this is an adjustment to the current filter and would/should be able to run over all folders (not only the inbox or archive folder).

Delete folder and cards in bulk.
    Synchronize mail from other services.

  18. automatic filtering to folders after timeout / expiration period

The message expiration is a lovely feature!

What would be even more lovely is that the message could be moved to some designated folder after some time!

  19. Subject line encryption

Email client Tutanota encrypts/hides the subject line when you send a password protected email. It simply says that the sender has received a confidential email. This seems to make more sense. The whole email including the subject line should be encrypted. I really like how Tutanota does this.

  20. Improve Proton Drive Upload Speeds on Windows App

Would it be possible for the upload speeds to Proton Drive via the Windows app to be increased? It seems quite slow currently and it's taking a day or two to fully upload the 90gb ported over from my OneDrive.
