  1. Handy "See all emails at once without clicking three times or so" feature

    Please do it so one can see a list of ones own emails by just clicking on the icon at the top right hand corner just like in Gmail eg, and so one does not have to click like two times and wait till the screen loads two times till one can see all of the emails one is logged in with.

  4. When a thread contains more than one unread message, open the last one instead of the first

    When a new message is received in a thread that contains other unread messages, the first unread message is collapsed. This can be confusing because by selecting the thread you might think you are reading the message that just arrived but that's not true. It is preferable for the threads to be in the reverse order of arrival and to see the most recent emails first.

  5. A broader range of wildcard placements are needed to block unwanted domains. IE: *@*.*uk that would block everything with a uk in the domain

    IE: @.*uk that would block everything with a uk in the domain. I get slammed every day with uk and de domain variations and I would really like to be able to use wildcards for a block entry just once, to take care of a problem I am plagued with on a daily basis. I know no one, nor do any business in uk or de territories and it is getting to be quite ridiculous. Currently, the only place a wildcard can be used is for the username in the emial address.

    Hello ProtonMail community,

    I hope this message finds you all in good spirits. I'm writing to share a suggestion regarding the functionality of ProtonMail, a service that I've come to appreciate and rely on.

    I would like to see the 'Easy Switch' option, currently available to users migrating from Google to ProtonMail, expanded and made less restrictive. This would allow users to perform similar actions with different email services.

  7. Add sender to existing filters

    I love the recently added feature when adding a label that allows you to automatically classify all future messages from a sender to a specific label. What I didn't realize is that in clicking this checkbox you end up creating a new filter for the email address.

    The challenge is that there seems to be a 250 cap on the number of filters allowed.

    We need a feature that allows filters built on labeling senders to add additional senders to an existing filter vs creating a new filter.

  8. Sort by size

    Proton has a size limit but as far as I'm aware there is no way to find large files that are taking up the space. Please add either a sort by size option, or a way to show largest files. Thank you.

  9. Improve Search

    Can I really not search for messages sent by or received from someone?
    Honestly, search is so weak, the only way to do it is use Bridge and a client like Thunderbird with a decent search engine. Then why use the webmail client at all? Also, content search is frankly useless as the content repeatedly disappears and needs another glacial re-indexing. I know there's a bandwidth overhead with this, but some of us are paying for just that!

  10. Email opening in modal

    I prefer using Column layout in Proton Mail but what I find awkward in that kind of setting is to read emails on the right side of the screen. What I'm proposing is to add an option to open emails in the center of a screen in modal-like fashion. That would be great. (:

  14. Fix problems with uncontrollable font sizes when composing emails ASAP!

    I contacted support a couple of weeks ago to let them know about a font size issue when composing emails- the font size changes itself when I try to type any email (and always to a smaller hard to see size). The problem was acknowledged and I was told that others have reported the same problem. I was told that the issue would be corrected, but as of today the issue still has not been resolved.   15. Single User session Only

    ( unhappy protonmail staff delete my previous entry)

    Session Management does not work properly.
    Proton sentinel is Unnecessary . A single sessions only would solve the problem the other two are trying to address.
    Unless yo want to trade off privacy and security for convenience.

  17. Allow to use Bridge CLI in SMTP-only mode

    Currently, Bridge seems to be caching the whole inbox when connected to an account. This makes it inefficient as a SMTP server (too much storage is used). SMTP-only would be enough for a notification service, e.g. on a NAS.
    It would be great to have an option to disable email fetching (IMAP) for this use case and provide just the SMTP server.

    This idea could be probably realized in a form of option switch for the login command of the Bridge CLI.

  18. Better general support sending encrypted mail outside of protonmail

    What currently exists appears to be sufficient, but it is not nearly as good as it could be. I have seen other posts that request these ideas before, and I would like to amalgamate them here.

    Lookup public keys through external services, such as keys.openpgp.org

    Safety indicator to ensure the e-mail you are sending is encrypted when sending to non protonmail contacts

    Allowing encryption to be managed with an external application through proton bridge, (including a confirmation dialog on proton bridge to prevent accidentally sending unencrypted e-mail)

  19. Any A-List or Selective E-mails from to receive from specific users?

    I would like to suggest to add a feature for premium customer's to only receive those e-mails that strictly you can add on a special list instead to avoid and receive lot's of spam mail and stuff like other regular emails clients out there

  20. Add arch-keyring support for Protonmail Bridge

    I'm really glad to have Bridge on Linux, but I use an Arch based distribution and find it frustration to have to use the Gnome Keyring when all my other passkeys are handled by the Arch keyring.

    Maybe there's a way to make it work that I didn't see, but if that isn't the case would adding arch-keyring support be a possibility ?
