  1. updating IOS app notification counter (applicationIconBadgeNumber)

    The app icon on IOS has a notification counter displayed in the top right corner of the app icon. Unfortunately, this number is not being kept up-to-date. When I read an email on another device, the IOS app notification counter does not change (decrease). Gmail app can update this number in ~3 seconds after I open an email on another device.

  2. Third party spell check support

    I am dyslexic and as such have settled on using Grammarly as a way to spell-check and audit all of my outgoing messages.

    Even though there is a built-in dictionary in both the web app and mobile version (supported more by the dictionary of the keyboard on the app) I find them really lacking and I find myself roundtripping between a word processor and the actual interface for every email as I'm anxious the built-in filter won't catch most mistakes.

  3. Customizable ProtonMail Bridge IMAP & SMTP server passwords

    I am using Thunderbird as email client in combination with ProntonMail Bridge. I am syncing the Thunderbird profile (which does not only contain all emails but also all settings) between different devices. ProtonMail Bridge IMAP & SMTP server passwords will be different between multiple devices as these are randomly generated. The synced Thunderbird profile therefore can only be used on one device and always needs to be adapted when switching devices.

    The possibility to chose the individual passwords for the IMAP & SMTP servers would be an approach to resolve this issue. With such a feature each device can use…

    Ideal way (for me) - is yandex UI for this feature.

  6. Pricing model full customization

    I have an enterprise, my clients request me diferents models of pricing

    Client 1: I want a 1 user with 10gb email and 1 domain

    Client 2: i want 2 users for me and my friend, with 2gb each and 4 domains

    ... With plus plan i can change all except users... with professional plan i can change all except storage and directions...

    Why i can customize all parameters? combination of plus plan and professional?

    There's no setting for this. Other emails give most recent at the top.
    Also, having my name on a thread when I have replied to someone is confusing. I didn't send the received message, my contact did, but I can't see who it was on threads of similar names.
    I'm finding the inbox rather clunky.
    I'd like to be a long term user of protonmail, but you need to improve its functionality before I'd do that.

  14. custom theme on mobile app

    I would like to have the custom theme/colors be applied to the mobile app as well. ie - after I apply custom css to the web interface, I would like to have the same css/colors apply to the mobile app.

    This is because: I don't like the default color scheme because the distinction between "read" vs "unread" is too slight - this needs to be easier to see at a quick glance.

  18. Support of DoH (DNS over https)

    I notice that ProtonMail supports TLS 1.3. When will it support the other issues required for DNS over https - ie DNSSec and Encrypted SNI please?

    As it stands a 'man in the middle' while s/he may not be able to read your emails, they can tell that one is using protonmail.com. (This of course assumes that the certificate authority system has not been compromised, which is a big 'if') In my view all websites should support DoH - otherwise the idea of secure browsing is only 'half baked' at best.

  19. The Tab Button

    I just want to be able to hit tab and align text in my email like I do with any word processor. Even if I copy a string or words with a tab in them, then paste into an email, proton mail interprets that as a random number of spaces. Nothing is aligned. What I have to do is hit spaces a large number of times and the text never aligns perfectly. This becomes a pain when I email numerous times for business.

  20. Sort Inbox by Label

    I would like to sort my inbox by the label I have attached. My bill notifications arrive in random order. I label them with due dates. I want to sort them so that I can easily see which is due next. Thanks.
