Show all sub-folder Mails when clicking on parent-folder
When creating several parent-folders, each with several sub-folders for Mails, It would be a nice feature to see ALL sub-folder-Mails when clicking on a parent folder. Now, if you wanna see a new Mail you have to dive in the specific folder to be able to see it.

Create a "All Accounts" Inbox on App
Like other apps such as Outlook or Gmail you have an All Inboxes, if we have multiple email addresses we have to switch accounts first, back and forwards gets very old fast. Why not show all emails in a combined Inbox for the accounts added to the App.32 votes -

Private flag in calendar
My wife sends some invitations from her proton calendar to her work calendar which is based on exchange. She always has to edit these events in work calendar afterwards and set the "private" flag, so that the the details are not visible to colleagues.
We would need a private flag for events in calendar that can be set, so that it is recognized from exchange and other systems that the invitation/events hast to be set to private state and thus details are not visible in the foreign system. Account switching - provide themes to differentiate between accounts
I use 3 different Proton Mail accounts for different aspects of my life (eg social, business). This means I'm constantly going to the "switch Account" screen to switch between accounts.
Problem: The problem is, all 3 of my accounts look identical, with the same purple icon, the same initials, and the same name next to them. This makes it frustrating and tricky to switch accounts as I have to read the small email address to identify the one I want.

Bulk editing of events to new/existing calendars
Select any number(shift click, shift drag) of events and move them to a custom calendar.
Another usefull bulk operation is moving the selected events by an amount of hours/days/weeks.
Bulk deletion is also usefull but with a context window warning, which might save people some headaches.31 votes -
Bring back old contacts app.
The old contacts app was a perfect way to focus just on your contacts. However it is gone now and we are forced to use a smaller interface with limited information.
Please bring it back! Also make a template csv file we can download to follow so we can upload contacts.

Calendar: Have a setting for Start Time of the Day
When I bring up the calendar, it starts very early in the morning ( 3am). So, it would not likely show any of my appointments on the screen. I always have to scroll up to 8am. So I would like to see a setting for Day Start Time, so I could set the displayed calendar to start at 8am.

Option to add Task & Eisenhower Matrix for Proton Calender
Sometimes you have myriads of things to do. In such case, prioritising becomes essential. Eisenhower Matrix is one such matrix which help ppl to take action on the basis of importance and urgency of the task allotted in the hand. This will require option to logging of task like to-do list and then tag it in one of the quadrants.
Use case
For students, they have multiple assignments going on each week with deadline ranging from months and weeks or even days. Creating events in calendar is not the ideal way to solve for it as you can't see list…

Like in google calendar: Drag at the bottom or top part of an entry to expand/subtract the time of any entry into the calendar.

Calendar widget for android with view options.
The calendar widget for android is horrible. You can only see the first 14 days of the month and that is all you can see.
It needs to have a proper monthly view, a list view that starts on current day and continues for a set number of days.29 votes -
Agenda View with Events of Upcoming 7 Days
It would be great if the Agenda View in mobile apps would display events of the upcoming 7 days instead of only the currently selected day. That way one would get a helpful overview of what's coming up in the week ahead without having to tap on each day separately.

Improve Self-Destruct
Self-Destruct function is a great feature but is some space for improvements.
Self destruct in 7 days (please allow us to change this default value according to preference (for example "Self destruct in 27 days", etc...). in other words, allow us to set a value for the default destruction period.
Option to set a Global Self-Destruction for all incoming mails.
Option to set Self-Destruction for particular folders which to overwrite the Global Self-Destruction setting.
In contacts application add a field where we can set a Self-Destruct period for all mails received from that contact email address/addresses which to overwrite all…

Custom inbox layout
In order to make the transition easier from such mailboxes such as Gmail, having options for the mailbox layout would help.
We could have layout options such as "Unread - starred - read" or "Starred - unread - read" to keep what's important to you at a glance.
A well structured inbox makes for better productivity and ease of use, and therefore makes the product more attractive, or at least on par, with its competitors.

Add private note to emails in Inbox
An ability to attach a note (also encrypted, naturally) to one of the emails in my mailboxes, just for personal use in tracking the reason behind a message, or what I have done in relation to any particular email, would be a tremendously useful feature! Please bring us a way to attach one or more notes (preferably with timestamps on when each was made) to any email in our mailboxes! Thank you!

Add sub-folders to the archive folder.
I would like the ability to archive the sub-folders with all the emails saved in them. For faster retrieval when researching among 1000's archived emails.

Proton Calendar: subscribe to private external calendar
At the moment, it is only possible to subscribe to public external calendars in Proton Calendar.
I would appreciate an option to subscribe to private calendars (served by Caldav and protected by username/password).

Custom Calendar and Email Notification Sounds
We really need to have the ability to customize the sound of the notifications in both Proton Calendar and Proton Mail. There’s currently no options at all in the apps for iOS/iPadOS so we’re left with just a ‘ding’ that very easily gets missed. For these apps to be useful we need to be able to tailor notification sounds (customize the default sounds for each app, set custom sounds for specific contacts, set custom sounds per event and/or calendar, etc.). Thanks!
