1. shared calendar notify each member when new events and event changes

   Just like the ios calendar app. when adding events the other user in the family gets an automatic notification, also with new events. not via email but as a notification in the app.

2. Ability to pre-select (via contact info) the email identity to use when composing an email to each specific contact.

   Ability to designate within each contact a specific email identity to use when composing an email to that contact. The pre-selected "from" account should populate into the address window in accordance with contact-specific selections. When conflicts arise while composing an email to multiple parties, launch a dismissable pop-up warning. Undesignated outgoing accounts for contacts will continue to use the default outgoing account.

3. Automatically detect and prefill event time from text entered in the description field

   When a calendar event description starts with a time (e.g., '17:00' or '5 PM'), automatically detect it with regex and prefill the event’s time fields—simple to implement, high user value, inspired by Google Calendar. (or let me know and I will implement it for you <3)

4. The reply to an e-mail placed in a folder remains in the folder and not in the “Sent” folder

   It's crucial to have all messages recieved and sent to a person or a company in the same folder ;-)!

6. Easier report button for Malicious e-mails and deletion

   An easier way to report malicious/phishing and spam/junk e-mails. So for example, if you report an e-mail as malicious/phishing, not only will it report it to Protonmail security, it will also automatically delete the e-mail from your inbox or send it to trash.

7. Allow customisation of Proton Calendar display (font etc) and other things - my top 5!

   I think it's new, I cannot find any customisation of fonts for calendar app on iOS...

   Having used CalenGoo for Google calendar, and now migrating away from Google, I can only strongly suggest to look at the depth of customisation that CalenGoo offers over even the native Google Calendar app.

   Highlights for me, not exhaustive:

   • customisation of font size, bold/italics etc., style, colour: important to allow more to show in the week and particular month view (my preferred view)
   • display time at the start of a scheduled meeting in month view, not just 5 or 6 letters
   • a proper search function (with indexing on device prior to encryption)
   • general display alterations/customisation (for example, why not allow display of "August 2025" at the top, not just "August", which could be any year...)
   • an easy copy/paste function for regularly recurring events where only date/time changes, not the content of the event

   This is only a list of my most liked highlights.

   I think it's new, I cannot find any customisation of fonts for calendar app on iOS...

8. Preserve Reverse Alias When Forwarding Your Own Sent Messages

   When an email is sent via a reverse alias, forwarding that same message (e.g., to add a missed recipient) reveals the sender’s real Proton Mail address instead of the alias. Users must manually edit the forwarded message to hide their real address, which is easy to forget and defeats the privacy purpose of reverse aliases.

   Steps to Reproduce:

   1. Create a reverse alias (e.g., alias@protonmail.com).
   2. Compose and send an email to Recipient A using that alias.
   3. Realize you omitted Recipient B and click Forward on the sent message.
   4. In the compose window, add Recipient B and send.
   5. The forwarded email’s From/Reply‑To header now shows your primary Proton Mail address, not the alias.

   Expected Behavior:

   When forwarding a message that you originally sent using a reverse alias, the forwarded email should automatically retain the alias in the From/Reply‑To fields, keeping your real address hidden without any extra effort.
   Suggested Solution:

   • Automatic Alias Retention for Forwarded Sent Mail
   • Detect that the message being forwarded originated from a reverse alias.

   • When the user forwards that message, pre‑populate the From and Reply‑To fields with the original alias.
     Show a non‑intrusive indicator (e.g., “Forwarding using reverse alias”) so the user knows the alias is being used.
     Optional User Preference (under Settings → Aliases → Forwarding)
     “Preserve reverse alias when forwarding my own sent messages” (ON by default).

   • Allow advanced users to disable the behavior if they intentionally want the real address shown.

9. Be able to use "hide-my-email" of proton pass into proton mail in the "sender" dropdown

   In "proton pass", when we create a hide-my-mail, I would like to be able to make a mail with "Proton Mail" in the senders dropdown...
   Actually when we create one "hide-my-mail", we have to wait someone to mail to this alias, which then allow us to use the alias.
   I'd be cool if all the created aliases in "proton pass" could be available in the list of senders in "proton mail" as soon as a hide-my-mail would be created.

10. Browser choice when opening email links

    In the desktop Proton Mail application, when you click a link, a dialog shows the full URL and requests confirmation to open the link. This is a great feature!

    Enhancement: Instead of just opening the link in the default browser, allow me to configure additional browsers. Offer a choice of what browser to open with the link.

    Allow me to add browser configurations by choosing the application/executable or optionally entering a command line. For example, I could configure firefox --private-window as an option and multiple firefox --profile options.

    This feature would allow me to open the link in the browser/profile that I think is best suited for the link. For example, work vs personal.

11. Feature suggestion – Consistent DMARC/SPF warning in web and mobile versions

    Hello,

    I would like to report an important security concern in Proton Mail.
    Currently, the web version of Proton Mail displays a warning when a message fails DMARC/SPF verification, but the mobile app (Android/iOS) does not show such information.

    This creates a risk that users who primarily rely on the mobile app may be unaware that a message could be forged or sent from an unauthorized server. In practice, this is a significant security issue, especially for users who are not able to manually inspect email headers.

    Proposed improvement:

    Implement the same DMARC/SPF failure warnings in the mobile app as in the web version.

    Optionally, allow users to enable security notifications in settings, so they are warned before opening potentially suspicious emails.

    This would ensure consistent phishing and spoofing protection across all Proton Mail platforms and significantly improve user safety.

13. Send again ability from within a sent email

    Have the ability to select 'send again' from within a sent email.

    I use this small feature all the time in Spark email client. I send out an offer request to one supplier. When sent, I select send again, change the email adress for another supplier and it goes out again.

    Should be easy be an easy feature to add. i hope:)

14. Ability to hide folders

    Sometimes there are emails that you don’t others to see if another person gains access to your account or device. It would be great to have a feature to hide and password protect folders in mail or the ability to archive/hide emails in proton drive. Just more privacy options for emails.

15. Pin Calendar to taskbar

    The Calendar app for Windows already exists (inside Mail). Just let me pin Calendar to the taskbar so that my calendar is one click away instead of three. Even if it's just another instance of the the same Mail app, I don't care about that. My current browser of choice doesn't support installing web apps and I'm not switching just for this. Also I find it a bit of a waste not to use the desktop apps (as long as they are supported).

17. iOS API integration

    It would be very helpful if Proton Calendar supported easy event imports from other apps on iOS. Since I travel frequently by train, it would be great to automatically add trips to my calendar using the iOS share sheet in train planning apps like ÖBB Scotty.

18. Display folders ontop for ease of access + splitting up additional addresses

    Folders are nice and all, but almost every email provider I've tried before proton has an easier way to go between folders and view labels and the like. Being able to have a folder set up at the top of the inbox would make the fact that additional addresses are forced into the same inbox a little easier because then I could have each email as a separate folder on the top of my email inbox, and then could use sub folders and labels to force separate each email.

    as it currently stands I'm highly considering deleting all my proton emails because the lack of features and everything being forced into one inbox/sent box/etc is super frustrating, and I find the interface not as accessible as prior platforms... I had hoped it'd be like other sites where they'd be sub accounts easily clicked between without needing to change accounts, but I was wrong.

    Be able to name the colour tags for events in the calendar.
    Such as the user will be able to change the colour Forest or Fern to be labelled as Pay Day
