"Reply all" should put ALL recipients as "To" adresses
It is driving me nuts that if I am part of a group of recipients of an email, and I hit "Reply all" then only the one who sent the email I am replying ALL to is put as "To" recipient - the rest are added as CC recipients, even if all were "To" recipients on the email I reply to.
Please either change this - I've never seen another client handle "Reply all" in this way - or at the very least make it a setting on my account (not per client) if I want the current behaviour or…3 votes -
Notications from shared calendars
When sharing a calendar, for example in a family, it would be nice to know if other members of the shared calendar adds, deletes or make changes to the calendar. It could be a change of time, title or date of an existing appointment. Or if a member adds an new appointment.

Update view (with columns) of Proton Mail in iOS.
Please urgently integrate the column view in Proton Mail for iOS (especially iPad) to have a modern email client view with a column for email inbox + view of email content.

Allow custom-domain owners to choose the subaddressing delimiter from any RFC-permitted non-alphanumeric symbol allowed in the local-part of an email address (e.g., . - _ + ! # $ % & ' * / = ? ^ \ { | } ~`).
Why:
Plus-addressing and email tagging users rely on tagged addresses for filtering, traceability, and account compartmentalization.
The current + delimiter is widely stripped or rejected by websites and abused by bots and spammers.
Alternative symbols would restore reliable tagging for custom-domain owners, catchall users, and advanced filtering workflows.

Send & archive
It's really hard to use the inbox 0 approach when you can't switch the "Send" button over to "Send & Archive". It's very easy to implement and a really essential feature I'm extremely surprised to find missing.

Move or Archive conversation as a whole via keyboard shortcut

Current behaviour
When a conversation is open pressing the keyboard shortcut 'A' archives a single message from that conversation.
When a conversation is open pressing the toolbar archive button archives the entire conversation.
The tooltip on the toolbar archive button shows the Letter A as the shortcut.Desired functionality

Better UI for Calendar
I moved to Proton Calendar a month ago, from Outlook and Google Calendar. I am frustrated with the user interface, and feel it adds to much "friction" to daily task like creating or moving events. It is the same both on Android and Windows. Do you have plans for improving UI, or providing integration with external calendar clients?

User interface colors are not user friendly
You folk might like deep purple (not the band) but the theme is difficult to distinguish between one proton app and another . -- especially on mobile devices. I know people are touchy about this subject, but you need a radical redesign of your UI. Its easy to mke mistakes using your app and the color changes would help a lot.. I truly wish you would spend the money and hire a real UI designer maybe someone from the old Jobs apple era and have them redo mail and please calendar .. which I have totally given up using ..…

Make Auto Reply Faster to Access and Place Notification at top of Mail Window
The Auto Reply / Out of Office feature should be faster to access within the Mail app or window instead of navigating to All Settings first. Then, when the Auto Reply is active, a static notification should appear at the top of the window reminding the user that Auto Reply is active. This is common in other major mail services.

Duplicate email detection
Duplicate detection during Easy Switch from Gmail is not perfect and sometimes duplicate copies of imported emails remain, eating up space. It would be great to have an option to detect and remove them later.

I would like to suggest adding custom profile picture support in Proton Mail (with optional privacy-safe avatar or Gravatar integration). This is essential for professional branding and identity.
Additionally, Proton Mail Plus users should have advanced HTML formatting support, including custom HTML/CSS email design, reusable templates, and a proper signature builder. This would allow business users to create professionally designed emails while staying within Proton’s privacy ecosystem.

Prevent unnecessary obfuscation of From addresses to increase phishing prevention
Scenario:
If I send an email using one of my own passmail alias to a regular email address, I will receive responses from an address that has been obfuscated through passmail.For example
- I send an initial email from "personal.alias.aw3kl44@passmail.net" to "support@acmecorp.com"
- I receive a response from "supportatacmecorp_com.98ayuj@passmail.net"
Problem:
This is problematic because I'm now unable to validate the sending address of the response. Is this a legitimate response or a phishing attempt?Expected result:

Search contents of currently open message
Add feature to ProtonMail to allow us to search the text in the message we are currently viewing. This would be like some browsers (e.g., Brave mobile) call "Find in Page."

multiple accounts unread emails
I use ProtonMail Desktop (love it) with multiple Proton accounts. In the account switcher on the top right is it possible to have a badge in each account with the number of unread emails?
Also background check of this will be great, so when I see a badge counter there I switch to the other account to read the unread emails.PD: Giving feedback and having to sign in with google... come on...

Create a Mail Plus offer for 2 users
I would nice to create a Mail Plus Duo offer to allow a second email user, with just the same options as Mail Plus, but keeping the price reasonable under 10€, and avoid paying €19.99/month or €14.99/month for a Proton Duo..

Mail-Checker Addon for Browser
A browser-addon similar to CheckerPlus for Gmail.
I always have my browser open when using my computer, as i listen to mixes on Youtube or live stuff. As i was previously using Gmail i became very used to the Checker Plus, i found it very convenient.
No need for open Tap or Program, just Notification and the ability to read it or respond quickly.3 votes -
Allow additional (family-)users to add new email addresses without being admin.
Having a family subscription and my family members ask me to create new addresses, because they cannot do that themselves. So now I've changed them all to "admin" because I don't want to deal with their email addresses.
But now they can also add new users and delete existing ones - the can even remove me, the primary admin! That really doesn't seem to the right way to do user authorization.
Please add an "Allow address creation" checkbox next to the "Admin" checkbox in the user popup. That would really solve a problem.

CSS Animation Support
Hello, it would be awesome if we could have CSS animation support. I have a corporate email signature for my company and we use a gold shimmer animation via CSS as one of our main brand recognition points. Sadly with our migration to Proton, we're only able to make our signature use just a bland flat gold font color. Could this be added for support? Thank you!
