Improve swipe down gesture
When viewing a photo on Proton Drive, the swipe down gesture to return to the Photo's Home Page requires a long and precise swipe. On my iPhone 13 Pro Max, this is difficult because my thumb cannot comfortably reach the required distance.
But on my iOS's Photos app, I do not have this problem and I can comfortably swipe to go back to the next/previous photo or return to the default view with a minimal gesture

Uploading in the iOS application
It's unacceptable and extremely annoying that you can only select and upload a maximum of 10 files at a time on iOS. Android offers so many more options. Please change this urgently. It's such a huge hindrance.

Saved and existing images in the cloud
Images that have already been uploaded to the cloud should then be clearly visible under Photos. If you have many folders with images in the cloud, they should be organized and visible as albums under Photos. Otherwise, the feature is useless for many people.

Upload by command line.
Would it be possible to access directly (e.g. with SSH, SFTP or rsync) without having to use the interface?
I should point out that I appreciate the ergonomics of the current interface, but I would appreciate being able to synchronise certain important documents more quickly and automatically.

Option to Opt-In for File Recovery Without Recovery Key
I would like to propose an idea for an option that allows users to opt-in for the recovery of previously encrypted files without needing a recovery key, similar to features available in services like Google Drive and OneDrive. This is especially helpful for users who may have lost their recovery key or forgotten their password.
Details:Background:
Currently, if a user forgets their password and loses their recovery key, they are unable to regain access to their previously encrypted files. This situation can be critical if there is no backup of important files.
Proposed Solution:Introduce an opt-in feature during…

Arm linux support for proton-bridge
Currently there are no available builds for running proton-bridge on a ARM device with Linux on it. I'd love to see support for it since now i can't have my mail in 1 application but need to use a seperate web interface for only my proton based mail.

Add "open preview in new tab" option for files in Drive.
Currently, when I'm viewing files in a folder (using my browser), let's say pdfs, double-clicking one will open the file preview in that tab. Occasionally, I might want to open multiple files and view them side by side (or in adjacent tabs), but there's no way to open any individual file "in a new tab", which means I have to open a new blank tab, go to Proton Drive, navigate my way through my folders to the file I want, and open the preview for the next file. And I have to do that for each and every file I…

Allow creating folder-pairs to sync
Allow us to define folder-pairs such that user can select one folder in the local device to pair with a folder on the cloud storage and sync the two, either unidirectionally, or bidirectionally.
This will allow users great flexibility in defining what folders/files they want to sync across their various machines.
Examples of where this has been done effectively: OneSync app on Android, DropSync app on Android.

True cloud sync akin to Dropbox or OneDrive
Instead of just allowing machine-specific sync to the cloud, allow for a cloud-storage option which multiple machines can all sync to & from bidirectionally, allowing all computers to have the same set of files. Add one in one machine, it should become available in all machines. Delete one in one machine, it should get deleted everywhere.
Something similar to Dropbox or OneDrive. Makes managing files much more seamless and easier instead of having to try and find which machine I first synced the file on.
This will give a true alternative for users to move out of OneDrive/Dropbox and adopt…

Add OPDS feature to Drive
The Open Publication Distribution System (OPDS) is an open standard that allows content servers to syndicate their publications, like e-books and comics, in a catalog format. This enables reader applications on devices like iPads and Android tablets to directly browse, download, and sync content from a remote library. I propose that Proton Drive implement OPDS support, allowing users to generate a secure OPDS feed for any specified folder.
This would function similarly to how many reader apps currently integrate with Dropbox or Google Drive. A user could simply right-click a folder (e.g., "My E-Books"), generate a unique OPDS URL with…

Proton Drive for Business - Organizational Policy to Set File Versioning for All Users
Proton Drive should support the ability for business users/organization admins to define and set the file versioning setting as a policy rule that is enforced across the organization.
Example:
Proton Drive - file versioning history may be set to 365 days for all organization users as a policy3 votes -

Display photos at 100% zoom
When viewing a photo on the Proton Drive website, there is currently no way to show the photo in its native size. By default the photo is resized to "fit the window", and you only have the option to zoom in (which applies a factor of 1.1) or zoom out (factor of 0.9). You can't set the zoom level at exactly 100%.
This is very annoying, especially for things like screenshots or images of text, which will always be kind of blurry when not shown in their native size.
Maybe the button that displays the current zoom level, which currently…

desktop shortcuts
Add the feature to place a shortcut for specific files from the app to mobile and computer desktop.
Gives easy access to files like a Keepass DB. No need for every app to add support for cloud storage.
This works with GDrive on Android very smoothly.1 vote -
You ******* *****, let me create folder albums inside of albums under Photos Tab
I have never seen such a half baked product company in my entire life. You sell yourselves as privacy bastions to tackle Google and co circle jerk friends yet you bow to the same evil practices that make us hate big tech in the first place. With Google they are always giving us a reason to hate them. Privacy first. With Proton you are always giving us a reason to hate you. Half baked feature after another. Stop this, give us the basics with each release so we actually want to recommend you to people who won't hate us for…

Support .tiff (Tagged Image File Format) preview in Photos
Currently there is no support for .tiff files in Proton Drive photos, adding a support for that seems important because it is very popular amongst graphic artists, the publishing industry, and photographers.

Please do not allow two or more albums with same name
Currently you can have as many albums with the same name as you wish, but this is confusing. Things get worse when you take into account that you have no sorting or filtering for the albums, neither the option to add photos in one album picked from another album.
Please, fix this!

Add the possibility to not sync shared folders or encrypt on device
I would like the possibility to limit the Drive synchronization on any device of the person I share a folder or a document with, based on email accounts:
Person X can synchronize, Person Y cannot, can only access through a browser. It would also be nice to be able to limit the download of shared directories/files, on account bases.
Another solution / addition would be to systematically encrypt all the synchronized files/folder.
Since I don't know how secure the device of the person is, I believe that the current solutions put data at risk.
Thanks for your nice job!
