    The plans come with a standard storage amount, but there is an option to purchase additional storage.

  4. Photos with albums

    Change the photos ui to be similar to that of mega cloud service.
    Here you have a timeline that you can zoom in and out, and you can also zoom in and out of the thumbnails sizes.
    But most importantly, you can create albums and share those.
    This is very important if you want to move out of iCloud Photos or Google photos and into proton instead of into mega.
    Many people as I, have thousands of photos, and constantly more coming, and we continuously need to create and share albums with family members, for instance after a vacation or…

  5. Please add auto upload and sync for specific folders on android

    On android I'm really missing the feature to sync and auto upload specific folders. For now this is just possible for pictures.
    I need this to backup important data like, contacts, calendar, 2FA & offline password manager.
    Would really save a lot of work and be more reliable

  6. Control how often a Proton document auto-saves

    Editing a long Proton doc is becoming impossible because it auto-saves so much that it becomes unusable and lags.

    Is it possible to control the auto-save settings so that it only autosaves every (e.g.) one minute rather than after every keystroke. It's not a problem for small documents but it is for bigger than 8-10 pages.

    Would love to see an addition made for page separator, footnotes, and page numbers. As a (hopeful) academic these additions would be extremely helpful to use Proton Docs as my daily driver for writing.

  9. Stop double spacing lines by default

    On documents, by default, when you hit the return key you get a double-spaced line. I understand that you can get a normal single-spaces line by using shift-return but that is annoying as **** Why would you make the default something I never want? You fore me to use shift-return every time.

  10. Show desktop folders on mobile app

    I'm using the beta Windows sync client and it works well to be able to sync my folders up to the Proton Drive webapp. However, while the sync client allows you to sync any folders on your machine, no folders outside of the ProtonDrive folder on the computer are showing up on the mobile app. On the web all of the folders that sit outside of the Proton Drive main folder show up under a "Computers" navigation. For those of us that have multiple folders across multiple drives can you enable the ability to see "computers" in the mobile app?

    Only upload new photos to Proton Drive (not entire set of photos from your device). This would avoid uploading large previous datasets.

  12. Sync specific folders only

    Would be nice to be able to sync only specific folders. I have PD at home and would like to have it at work as well, but I do not want my personal files to be on the business computer. Just sync a work folder. Other cloud services have this, so would be nice to have as well.

  13. Basic features!!! should be on Proton Drive already an option to make all files localy not just cloud

    I can't find what should be a basic feature: the option to make all files in Proton Drive available locally for offline use. It's hard to believe this isn't possible. If it's truly missing, this feature needs to be added immediately.

  14. Google Docs to Proton Docs importer

    It would be great to have a tool to import Google Docs into Proton Docs. A sort of Easy Switch that would "translate/migrate" the Google Docs format into Proton documents. Without such tool, none of my old Google Docs can be used in Proton Docs.

  15. Bringing a file as an upload link into the email we write... simply

    I would like to 'Write Email' via button on the ProtonDrive app or page. Then I may get in there with a doc or file. emailing drive docs.

    could it work in a work in new app, a Proton Drive/based app?

    why wouldn't it be a mostly decent idea for recreating the PMail app as a PDrive app; and then, to be mail under the drive. Does that fit the security parameters for protonmail.

  17. Option to automatically delete items from the trash after a certain amount of time

    I wish I could set a specific time period (say, 30 days or more) for items in the trash to be automatically removed to preserve storage space.

    Emptying the trash manually is cumbersome, especially if you only want to keep recently deleted files available for recovery.

  18. Synchronize photo's to Windows Explorer like all other files

    As a Windows user, I want Proton Drive to handle photo's the same way as other files in Windows Explorer, so I can easily sync between devices and manage them in Windows Explorer.

    I have installed the Proton Drive app on Windows and made it part of Windows Explorer, like OneDrive is. All files are manageable by Windows Explorer and synched automatically with Proton Drive.

    However, for Photo's, I need to login to the Proton Drive Cloud environment, download them and add them to the "normal" Proton Drive file part manually, which is an unnecessary hassle.

  19. Photo viewing mode

    I have a folder of photos I've uploaded. To view them on the mobile app, I have to open one, then close it, then open another one, etc.

    It would be nice to have a photo viewing mode where I could just open them and swipe between them instead, kind of the same as the iOS photos app does.

  20. Add support for importing Open Document Text (.odt) format to the Docs editor

    Support importing .odt files into the Docs editor (and exporting). Its an open file format used by LibreOffice.
