FSP (File Storage Provider) support for iOS and iPadOS
There is support for FSP on macOS for Proton Drive, however it is missing for both iOS and iPadOS. The consequence is that I cannot add a Proton folder as location in for example iA Writer. The net effect is that any file stored on Proton Drive that I want to open, must be manually found through browsing from the root of my Proton Drive. With FSP support on iOS and iPadOS any folder should be available immediately in the interface.
The missing part in the implementation is full folder sharing support in said protocol.

Selecting which cloud-based directories or folders to sync to your local device
This feature allows you to select which cloud-based directories to sync to your local device. This is great for shared/office devices, as it allows you to only access specific cloud-based folders on your local device. This prevents someone from seeing the entire contents of a cloud-based directory or folder (OneDrive has this feature).

Upload photos as zip files, or allow one-time import from Google
I'm in the process of switching off of Google's G-Suite, and moving my photos/videos off there, and into Proton Drive. Google Photos is nice because you can download a bunch of files into a zip file to save bandwidth. It would also be nice to upload that raw zip file into Proton Drive to save upload bandwidth. Upload speeds are usually much slower for folks too, so this would be really helpful.
Alternatively, it would be great to do a one-time import of photos from Google Photos, and just be done with it :)

One Way Sync For Proton Drive Computer Backup
One of the primary reasons people are gravitating to Proton is for redundancy. There should be a way to set “two way sync” or “one way sync” for files and folders. Some files we would just like access to, while knowing we will not accidently move or delete them. I know that the “Trash” holds them for 30 days, but sometimes “fatal” errors can occur where files are totally lost, or corrupted. Simple Text only Google Keep Replacement
I'm looking for a simple, note-taking app to replace Google Keep, ideally with a similar interface. I don't need advanced features like tags initially, just basic note creation and ordering. However, archiving and export functionality would be valuable additions. It could start as text-only.

Improvement in Proton docs and version history
I love how Proton Docs automatically keeps a version history of every change we make to a document. It would be great to give users the option to set the time interval for creating new versions for example, after each edit, after 1 minute, after 2 minutes, and so on.
Currently, when I start a new document, each word I type generates a separate version. This quickly becomes overwhelming, making it hard to scroll back to a useful point in the history. While frequent versioning makes sense during focused editing such as correcting a document someone else sent or making deliberate revisions, it feels unnecessary…

Standardise file and folder sorting across apps
The Proton Drive web app sorts folders in the left-hand file tree lexicographically but sorts files and folders in the right-hand folder content area numerically. Files and folders in the iOS/iPadOS app are sorted lexicographically.
Let’s assume I have a folder that itself has twenty folders, each named 1 to 20. The web app sorts them as follows in the left-hand folder tree:
1,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,2,20,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
However, the web app sorts them as follows in the right-hand folder content area:
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20

Proton Drive meets Git
HiDrive allows turning folders into Git repositories, which is very helpful. It would be great to see a similar feature in Proton Drive — the ability to initialise Git repositories inside folders, with basic access via HTTPS/SSH. This would make Proton Drive even more useful for developers and advanced users.

Need the ability to add comments to photos in shared albums
I am using Google Photos to share family albums and I am trying to determine if I can replace Google Photos with Proton Drive (I am a Proton Duo user). One very useful feature for the users I am sharing the albums with is the ability to add comments. In fact, this would be a show-stopper if it is not possible. The reason is that some of the photos are pretty old (scans of standard prints) and lack details. sheets functionality
Thank you for creating Spreadsheets! I would love to completely move over from Google Sheets but
when i am typing in a cell, i should be able to hit the right or left arrow key and automatically move to the next cell over. I first have to hit ENTER to get out of editing, which moves the selected cell down a row, then I have to arrow right and up.
Repeating this process a multitude of times becomes time restrictive in cases of heavy data entry and both Google Sheets and Excel do not behave this way.

Find Content Across Spreadsheet Tabs
Thank you for creating Spreadsheets! I would love to completely move over from Google Sheets but a couple of things are missing
Enhance the Find feature
Give us the option to:
a) search across all tabs (not just the one active)
b) search a specific range of text
c) replace with text

Support for the ODF file format when exporting and importing files to Docs and Sheets
If you support and live open source, you should also support ODF and not just Microsoft's docx/xlsx.

Page Breaks!
This has been posted before, but always bundled with other features, and I really want to stress how important this SINGLE change is for many many novelists, academics, etc.
Page breaks are crucial to a huge number of people who use word processors/electronic documents, as is the ability to force a page break (for a new chapter, etc.)
Right now I have to keep doing print previews just to see what page things are on, and there is absolutely no way to control where a page break occurs. I will be forced to keep using Gdocs for my novels until…

Headers, Footers, and Page Number Fields in Docs
The ability to add headers, footers, and page numbers is important for preparing documents to submit to agents, publishers, contests, etc. or as school assignments. Please include the option to make the header and footer the same across all pages, and another option to make them the same across all pages except the first. The page number field needs to be separate, since each page number will be different. Thanks.

Navigator / ToC sidebar for Proton Docs
I heavily use Proton Docs.
However, when a document gets larger, navigation within the document is a real pain.
My request: add a sidebar or something similar that is structured by headings and allows quick navigation within a document (similar to Navigator in Word like a ToC).7 votes -
Allow unselect during Ctrl multiselect in Proton Sheets
In other spreadsheet editors, such as Google Sheets, if you hold Ctrl and click on multiple cells to select them, you can click a selected cell again to unselect it. This is very helpful if you're multi selecting and accidentally select a cell, since it'll let you unselect it and still keep all your other cells selected.
I tried this in Proton Sheets, and clicking on an already selected cell (in multiselect) does nothing.
It's a very small feature, but a good quality of life by design. :)
