  1. Pictures in Drive show on Photos

    We can upload picture files to the drive and organise them according to our needs with Folders... BUT, we cannot see those pictures in the Photos tab?!

    It would be great to see the Photo's tab include all photos whether in the 'My Files' section or uploaded onto 'Photos'. That being said, a 'Photos' folder in 'My Files' would be a better solution to letting us create Folders/Albums and also see all the pictures in the same place.

  2. Protons Docs Increase File Size Limit

    I have some documents with a lot of images that I'd like to migrate to Proton Docs, and they far exceed the current limit. It'd be nice if the size of the docs could be only limited by how much Proton Drive storage I have left (which is hundreds of GB), instead of 25 MB per doc.

  3. Show files shared with me in Proton Drive apps

    When I open the Proton Drive app on iPhone or Macbook, I can't see files that another person has shared with me in Proton Drive.

    I can only see them if I log in using a web browser.

  4. Automatic upload of files to Drive in the mobile app

    I have a folder on my phone, and I sync it with Drive, and all the files that have been synced are in that folder, and when I download new files to that folder on my phone, is it possible for those files to go directly to the Drive folder? An automatic upload to backup

  5. Open files outside Proton Drive in Android

    Many file formats are not supported by Proton Drive, like ods, docx, etc.
    Currently, the only way to open them is by downloading them first.
    There should be a way to open those files directly in an external app.

  6. Proton Drive - Notification when a shared file is downloaded

    It would now be of very great importance, to receive a notification when files shared in proton drive are downladed by the user who has the authority to do so as the owner of the sharing link, so as to close access to the documents as soon as possible.

    Add a piece of information or box in the grid of files within directories that shows the downlad number, when, and possibly if it does not create privacy problems also the IP address.

    Add tabs to Proton Docs for navigation / sectioning, for knowledge management use cases, like tabs in Google Docs ( https://support.google.com/docs/answer/15499791 )

    I think that maybe Proton should add more fonts such as Libre Baskerville. I also think that they should allow at piece of text to be moved without the font reverting to Arial. (E.g: Verdana to Arial)

  9. File Search

    Filename based Search functionality within Proton Drive...

    I don't necessarily mean searching for File-Content, this is difficult to achieve in a fully encrypted setting (albeit not impossible, if the indexing tool would run local or in a sand-boxed mode and the actual index database would be stored as a file on the actual encrypted proton drive account.... )

    But rather just a search for file name (even partial names etc...)

  10. Improved ProtonDoc/Drive feature

    -word counter
    -ability to change background color on docs/darkmode for docs in drive
    -ability to upload fonts for more options
    -integrated find and replace feature

    Please! These would make the changeover experience from editing in gdcs to proton nicer.

  11. Password Protect Desktop App

    I have Proton Drive for Mac installed on the computer in my office at work, as well as my personal computer. I'd love to be able to password protect the folder so that it cannot be immediately accessed without a password. The encrypted disk image route is not accessible via the mobile app, and signing out is a major hassle.

  12. Better scrolling for large amounts of photos

    I know there are some posts that include this idea, but they usually lump it together with several other features, like albums or search, so I wanted to create this as a separate issue.

    PLEASE consider making the scrolling experience in the photos app actually usable for large amounts of photos. I am about to move my photos from Google to Proton, and this is a glaring difference in usability.

    I have about 50 thousand pictures and videos on Google drive, but I can find the pictures from my vacation in Italy from 2022 within 10 seconds of opening the…

  13. Fonts in Docs

    Working with a type expert to curate a list of 20 or 30 high quality open license fonts to cover the majority of use cases would be a huge step toward legitimizing Proton Docs. I can understand why you might not want to utilize GFonts but it is one of the killer features that keep people tied to GDocs. As an educated amateur I would be happy to help with this, but someone like TypeWolf ( https://www.typewolf.com/ ) would be a great choice as a consultant.

  14. Proton Docs "Outline" Sidebar derived from Heading usage, like Google Docs

    This is a killer feature of Google Docs - the ability to use the autogenerated Outline sidebar to jump around the sections of a doc, whether it's a design doc, a log of meeting notes by date, etc. etc.

  15. Deletion protection for folders

    I keep a folder with my 2FA backup codes on Drive (I also keep local copies in case I get locked out) and would like to have the folder protected from deletion, similar to how you can protect cloud resources from accidental deletion.

  17. Separate public links for editor and viewer access

    With the addition of collaboration with users without Proton accounts, I'd like to see the option to generate two separate public links:

    One with viewer access (safely shared with anyone)
    One with editor access (shared with trusted contacts)

    For example this could be used for a community of people where the general public needs to be able to view a document, but only a few select members needs editing access, without a Proton account.

  18. allow downloading entire folders at once on the mobile app, and maybe also give drive media player functionality.

    i wanted to use drive to keep a music folder synchronized from my computer and phone, but i could only manage to download one song at a time, which when there's hundreds of them, is a bit difficult. it'd be nice if i didn't have to download each file individually, but could instead download the entirety of the folder containing them. as well as this, it would be nice if i could use drive to play music, instead of having to transfer the songs into the vlc player app.

    really love what yall are doing by the way, keep up…
