Find and replace for Proton Sheets
Sheets has a find function but a replace function does not come along with it as in most spreadsheet programs.

Search within folder
Search function to be restricted to the folder currently in. Global search should not be the only option. Many file arrangements have similar names or even the same ones, in different folders.

Add a dry-run flag To the cli
Can you implement a --dry-run feature to the cli? I want to be able to see what will happen if I start a large or complex upload.
It should show both the local files to be transferred and the final path of the uploaded files

multicloud
Get yourself into Multicloud. Uploading all my stuff from a different cloud service is taking ages. I would have finished if you were in Multicloud as my previous provider is.

Enable search by file modified date.
Searching Proton Drive is currently by file name. It would be extremely useful if you could also search by file modified date range. This would allow searches like "All files modified in the last month" in addition to file name.

make cli option --conflict-strategy skip allow incremental uploads to existing subdirectories
When using the Proton Drive CLI to sync a local folder to Drive, the --conflict-strategy skip flag appears to skip entire directories that already exist on the remote side, without inspecting their contents for new or modified files.
This makes incremental syncing impractical. In a typical workflow — for example, backing up a Documents folder after a day of work — new files are often created in various subdirectories. With the current behavior, the user would need to manually identify every subdirectory that already exists on Drive and target those individually, which defeats the purpose of a CLI backup command.

Add text watermarks to existing PDFs and images in Proton Drive
Please add a built-in option in Proton Drive to apply a custom text watermark onto existing PDF and image files (JPG, PNG) that are already stored in Drive.
iOS in particular has no native way to add a text watermark to a PDF or image, so users currently have to install untrusted third-party apps which defeats the privacy purpose. Building this into Proton Drive keeps the entire process inside Proton’s encrypted environment.

Prevent corruption when cutting and pasting proton sheets and docs using windows explorer
If you cut and paste a proton sheet or proton doc using windows explorer, there is a significant risk the file will be corrupted and not open, and that you will lose the version history. Current guidance is to ONLY use the 'Move to folder' button on the web interface. We need to correct this so that Windows Explorer can be used to move proton sheets and proton docs using the cut and paste functions.

filesystem upload should create intermediate parent folders
proton-drive filesystem upload -c replace -f replace -d merge -t true /home/me/myfile /my-files/home/me/ should create the directory /my-files/home and /my-files/home/me if they don't already exist.

Jump to header in Docs
I think it is very good for simply writing novels, which is what I used google docs for and has everything that I would need with the cloud saving without google. Only, I would really like it if you could add a feature to navigate between headers for large novels. Jump to a header that's in a list you can activate or deactivate. Otherwise, great!

Sync by last modified date rather than file size
Today syncing is based on file sizes. When a file's size changes, it triggers synchronization. Conversely, if there are no size changes, synchronization won't occur. This is very unpractical when doing small edits within a file. Sync by last modified date rather than file size is much more practical.

proton sheet cell history
I would really like to completely leave google and use Proton. I am stuck because there is this ability to check the cell history on google sheets, that helps track changes done by others collaborating on the sheets. This is a really integral part of our work, would love to see this feature on proton sheets. Any idea if it will be available in the near future?

Please add a native Kanban board feature (Trello alternative)
Now that Proton Drive has Docs and Sheets, a native Kanban project board is the missing piece to our daily workflows. Millions of privacy conscious users are stuck using Trello, Notion, or Asana because we have no choice, but those platforms track everything we do.
Please give us a card based project tracker (Kanban board) directly in Proton Drive. Help the community finally break away from Atlassian and Google entirely so we can manage our actual daily tasks inside one secure awesome platform.

Add Japanese language support to the Windows desktop app
The Proton Drive web version supports Japanese, but the Windows desktop app (v3.0.1) has no language setting and stays in English. Unlike the web version, it can't be translated with a browser either.
As a paying subscriber, I'd love a Japanese option in the desktop app. With privacy awareness growing fast in Japan, proper Japanese support would help Proton reach more users here.2 votes -
Keyboard shortcut to toggle between Grid layout and List layout
The names of files and folders presented in grid layout often are truncated and users are unable to see the full name of the file. This is generally solved by switching to list view, but when list view is no longer necessary to view the names of the items, the user would have to switch back to grid view.
Create a keyboard shortcut, for example Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + L or something equally intuitive, to toggle between these two layouts.
There is also room for creating additional shortcuts for a better UX. For example, typing directly to the Search drive…

Vertical Split Pane in Mail
A nice-to-have preference for later in development - please allow split panes in Proton Mail to show the mail at the top, the inbox below. Side-by-side split panes just don't work for me 😅 Thanks!

Storage Options - with connecting Directly to NAS Securely
I know now a days Drives and such are expensive and Knowing that so many people are using Proton Services are waiting for more Storage Options. and i don't blame proton AG to limit us of having to much storage its expensive while u have so many people using proton alone and the data that is accumulated over time.
Option - 1: Creating Virtual Connection to NAS setup and displaying it onto the Proton Drive web UI.

Support downloading native Proton Docs through the Proton Drive CLI
The new Proton Drive CLI is great. The ability to programmatically upload and download documents is excellent.
Being able to download native Proton Docs as ODF/MD/DOCX would provide even more benefit, allowing users to essentially use the "Download" functionality that is already available for native Proton Drive docs from the CLI.

Add an "Open" function to Folder right click and kebab menus
Some people have a difficult time double clicking folders to open them. Please provide an "Open" function when right clicking a folder and also in the 3 dots kebab menu.
