  1. Change app language

    You have recently implemented new languages, the problem is that it is set automatically according to the system language. You cannot change it either within the app or within the settings app in the language for apps section

  2. MacOS 15.0 dev beta - drive broken

    Heads up to dev team. Uninstalled the drive, authenticated normally. Connection to drive is broken. Error message: "Proton Drive encountered an unexpected error". Mail, Calendar, Pass and VPN are all okay.

  6. Upload speed is abysmal.

    No matter what PC I use the upload speed is horrible. It's not just today but all the time. My Internet is Fios with 300Mbps upload, and I can do other transfers quickly. I've tried turning off the advanced security services in the firewall to no avail. By looking at the Active tab I can see that even small files take way too long. A 3.5 gig upload is going on eighteen hours and not close to done.

  9. force history conservation and multiselection in history versions

    In history version, Possibilty to select a version of the file and make it conserve for ever. What ever the conservation duration is.

  10. Multiple recycling bins for different synced devices

    When syncing a folder on a PC for example, based on the type of folder that is synced, many little files might get deleted and move to the recycling bin regularly, where every other deleted file needs to be searched in the flood if you wanted to recover it.

    If there were different recycle bins, like one for the main drive, one for device 1, one for device 2..., files that you want to recover would be easier to find, as they are already sorted in a simple way.

  11. Proton Drive Polish language support

    Can you please add Polish language support to Proton Drive on Android and iOS ?

    That will significantly help me convince some many more especially older people to use Proton Drive.

  13. Connect to third-party clouds to encrypt it end-to-end

    It's a crazy idea but could it work?
    Basically my idea is this: Add in Proton Drive the ability to connect/link your app to other clouds such as Google Drive or OneDrive. (Why?) To view your files from the comfort of the app. AND! Upload files from proton drive to those clouds, and not only that, that Proton Drive encrypts them, so that when you see the data you uploaded from the third party cloud, it's just encrypted gibberish, that way those corporations couldn't scan your data!   15. Support folder picking on iOS

    When using another app like Logseq or Obsidian, you cannot use ProtonDrive because the ProtonDrive iOS app does not implement NSExtensionFileProviderSupportsPickingFolders.

  17. Nextcloud style Photos backup configuration (Configure source & destination, year, etc)

    I really like the Nextcloud photo sync feature, it allows for configuring any source folder on the phone and defining what the destination folder should be. This means that the pictures are automatically organized by source location on my backup repo.

    Furthermore, it has the feature to allow for creation year drilldown, meaning it will create the Year/Month folders automatically within the destination that I chose in the repo. It would be cool to see some enhancements along those lines. Thanks for all the great work!

  18. Possibilità di cambiare lingua

    Salve, da quando è nato Proton Drive ho scritto già un paio di volte di sviluppare la possibilità di cambiare lingua ma sfortunatamente non è avvenuto.
    A differenza di Proton Pass, che è arrivato da pochi mesi, l'aggiornamento è avvenuto rapidamente.
    Spero possiate sviluppare questa possibilità visto che Proton Drive è stato lanciato da più di un anno e la lingua è rimasta sempre quella. Saluti

  19. Provide .msix package with appcontainer enabled

    Appcontainer (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/msix/msix-container) makes app sandbox possible on Windows. Pls use .msix with it rather than traditional win32 apps.

  20. Expand/collapse folders in list view

    Currently you can only expand the folders from the sidebar navigation like with Proton Mail. While this works for Protonmail, for a filesystem like Proton Drive it makes navigating a lot simpler and intuitive when you can just do this from the main list view and reserve the sidebar for pinned folders and files.
