  1. increase max file size Proton Docs

    The maximum file size of proton docs including per action is too restrictive. I cannot convert larger documents from word format into proton docs.

  2. Synchronize photo's to Windows Explorer like all other files

    As a Windows user, I want Proton Drive to handle photo's the same way as other files in Windows Explorer, so I can easily sync between devices and manage them in Windows Explorer.

    I have installed the Proton Drive app on Windows and made it part of Windows Explorer, like OneDrive is. All files are manageable by Windows Explorer and synched automatically with Proton Drive.

    However, for Photo's, I need to login to the Proton Drive Cloud environment, download them and add them to the "normal" Proton Drive file part manually, which is an unnecessary hassle.

  4. Support for more file formats in Proton Docs

    It would be great to see Docs support more file formats for import/export and editing. As a Mac user, I would like to see .pages but I’m sure others have file formats they could add to the list. Open docs, Libre docs etc…

  5. Bringing a file as an upload link into the email we write... simply

    I would like to 'Write Email' via button on the ProtonDrive app or page. Then I may get in there with a doc or file. emailing drive docs.

    could it work in a work in new app, a Proton Drive/based app?

    why wouldn't it be a mostly decent idea for recreating the PMail app as a PDrive app; and then, to be mail under the drive. Does that fit the security parameters for protonmail.

  6. Add a timeline for photos in proton drive

    At the moment it is super difficult to access old photos in proton drive. Sometimes you have to scroll down for several minutes. A timeline at the side where you can quickly scroll to a rough date (like in google photos) would help immensely.

  7. Delay for photo backup

    Currently Proton Drive uploads photos/videos as soon as they are taken.

    But sometimes you want those deleted immediately. And by the time you delete them from the local gallery, Proton Drive has already started uploading them, meaning you now have to wait until it's uploaded so you can also delete them from Proton Drive.

    A delay of maybe 5 minutes before starting the upload would be incredibly helpful in this situation.

  8. Android Proton Drive "Save As"

    I save invoices and statements emailed to me (via Proton Mail, of course!) to Proton Drive, in a folder with the creditor's name. I usually want to change the document name to the date I received it, so that I can easily sort in date order. Currently, I cannot save with a different name, and I have to save it wit the original name, then open Proton Drive again, navigate to the document, and change the name. I would like to be able to save the document with a new name (Google Drive, Filen, Mega all allow me to change…

  9. Direct Upload links to various Apps like Zangi, Instagram, Telegram, Discord

    Create a drop-down list of various apps that can be directly uploaded to various platforms like Zangi, Telegram, instagram, Dicord etc.
    At the moment there is no way ,to share files directly to any other place,apart,from a PC.
    For people using the Phones and iPads this is not possible

  10. A Folder's date should be the same as the NEWEST object it contains

    Whenever a file is uploaded to a folder (or a sub-folder created), the dates of all the folders up-stream ought to be updated, so that it's easy to find things if we're going by date.

    Let's suppose that I have the following folder structure:

  11. Ability to upload more than 10 photographs at once from the Proton Drive iOS app

    Right now photo upload to a folder in the Proton Drive iOS app is limited to 10 photographs which is really unhandy and stops a widespread adoption in my organisation. Please change this

  12. Select folders not to Sync to machine

    I use Proton Drive to store my files and there are some folders that I don't want to download to my machine. Would it be nice to have settings in the sync app to choose folders not to download.

  14. Windows Sync - Interrupt Shutdown

    I find that Sync is a little on the slow side for proton, and I often shut down my computer before sync is done. Whatever file I was working on completely disappears from the drive until I can turn that device back on. I'd like the windows app to prevent shutdown until it's done syncing, and a warning to be included off the file if sync didn't complete. It's been a bit of a problem for me.

  15. Create client for editing .odt and .ods files

    I think creating new docs file editor is a bit reinventing the wheel. Wouldn't it be better to just create a client which could view and edit existing files with .odt or .ods extensions like in Nextcloud? I tried to attach screenshots but I couldn't... Anyway in Nextcloud you can even create those files and colaborate with others on them in real life. I think it would be much simpler to build. Actually, as Nextcloud is open source, you can just implement their solution!

  17. Proton Calendar for iOS allowing calendar share calendars with others

    I am interested in Proton Calendar for iOS allowing calendar sharing so that others can share the calendar without needing to do it through the web. I have two family members with my calendars shared, and from the iOS app, they cannot share on my calendars. They have to do it through the web.

  18. Make Proton Drive photos available in windows explorer.

    Make photos available in windows explorer so you can drag and drop photos to Etsy or Ebay. Instead of downloading them. Also the lag between taking pictures and them uploading some times is quick while other times it can take a while. Would like a option in the phone app (Android) to upload specific pictures so you can use them right away. Would love to give up Dropbox but can't until this is implemented.

  19. Photo upload HEIC

    It would be great to have the possibility to change the Proton drive Photo upload function.
    Using an iPhone i have trouble with .heic uploaded to drive and using it e.g on a windows client system.
    Please give me a Option like on Dropbox to auto convert heic to jpg.

    Also there should be a second option to only upload new photos not the whole library other wise it starts uploading 20k images once I change my phone.
