Delete phone photos after upload
Option to delete uploaded photos from phone
Just uploading pictures is not enough if I need to check and delete the pictures by hand. There should be the option to one-click delete uploaded pictures or do that automatically after a certain time.

Give raw link so photos can be embedded in Proton Mail
Give raw link to an individual image so that image can be embedded across the web. Including as a signature in proton mail email.

Proton Docs - Only shows Recent Docs
Was looking in Proton Docs for a previous doc from a month ago. I freaked out thinking it was gone. Searched for it - nothing. Finally thought to look in the DRIVE. Ended up finding it there. But talk about heart failure. Please have Proton Docs searchable in that app. Thank you! BTW, loving these new options in proton.me. Docs, Sheets, etc.

Proton Drive Integration with Android Default Storage
I haven't yet found a way to set Proton Drive as a default storage location on Android within the "My Files" functionality which drives selectable save options for most file save actions. Obviously, Google Drive is available along with MS OneDrive, internal storage, SD storage and network storage. Having Proton Drive set here would make file management much easier on Android mobile.

Organize folders like "folders and labels" in Proton mail.
Under settings folders and labels in proton mail it is easy to organize how the folders is organized. it is easy to move up and down folders and keep an easy overview how it is organized. it should be the same way in proton drive.

Notify documents in Drive
When a document is added to an already shared folder, it would be preferred if the creator can notify others that the document is there. Now others can only be notified by explicitly sharing the single document, which creates a new shared link. Maintaining these links becomes a hassle.

Open and Save with external app, not rename to "file (1).txt"
Currently on Android we can only Send (makes a copy) but neither Save or Save As (over original) works for even a basic Text File. Since last century we've been able to overwrite/alter without cumbersome deletion of the original file first.
Thanks heaps for the integration with Android Files, but it only half works...4 votes -

To keep it short, because my previous idea was just deleted:
Please make "always available on this device" the default, or at least configurable, so that I don't have to select "always keep on this device" for every new file on my local system (to make the light green check mark a dark green one).(but why has my previous idea been deleted without any notion while it was a serious effort from my side???)

Manage internal files/folders
On the Mobile versions it would be really helpful to be able to manage internal files and remove the need for a file manager app such as "Files By Google" on our devices. Allowing us the usual functionality of a file manager, it could also allow for easier batch uploading to the cloud.
It would make it easier to organise our devices files, be able to upload them to the cloud and remove them from device storage all in a single app.

Zoom alternative add on for artistically inclined?
This may be a bit much for the free tier Proton servers, but here's a 2-part pitch:
(1) functional Zoom alternative
(2) Maybe a feature of said alternative or another feature entirely for a "shared canvas" "chat room" type thing? I've heard about multiple people meeting up online in a kinda Zoom-ish meeting/chat room where they have a canvas that they can create art with and write messages - and option for mic to be muted or on was available. Not sure if it's an app or a website or what, but it seemed really cool and wondered if there…

Sheets cell indenting
After using both Excel and Google sheets for years, the only feature I frequently miss in later is the ability to indent cells. This is very useful way to make clearly separate different level (Country, state, city) by just using column A instead of having to split them to multiple columns. This is especially in cases where the "upper level" is just sum of the lower levels (like in accounting reports).

Webinterface Uploading: Create 1 folder, upload its files and subfolders, THEN create the next folder
Currently, when you upload folders in the webinterface, i.e. a fotos folder with 300 subfolders, drive first creates all 300 folders (why?) and then starts uploading into them.
The problem is: If a download fails or you close the browser accidentally, and you have to continue the upload, you have no idea what has been uploaded and what not. So you have to delete everything and start from scratch.
It would be better if the upload happens folder by folder so you can see where the upload was interrupted and can continue right there.2 votes -

When duplicating a sheet in Proton Sheets. Please place the new sheet next to the original sheet and not all the way at the end of the list.

Reconnect desktop app to existing folder
Hi,
I wanted to pull an offline backup for my and my wives Drive.
I synced my folder to an external drive, switched users in the app to my wife, synced to external drive and then...
I couldn't switch back to the big online folder of my account, because you can only switch to an empty folder. So I had to download everything in my account again.
And the next time I want to pull a backup on my wives account I'm back to the problem.

LAN Sync
Allow devices on the same LAN that have files already downloaded to sync the data between them rather than going through the servers to improve syncing speed.
This is especially important because:
a) Syncing speed is very slow (as mentioned elsewhere) because it doesn't pipeline well for many small files.
b) If I change my password I have to re-sync EVERYTHING. I'd be happy if that changes too, because it's pretty crazy to re-download 100s of GB just because of a password change. But if that isn't possible for the security reasons then at least the sync speed should be…2 votes -
Import files and folder structures from Notion into drive in Proton docs format
It would be very nice if I could import my whole Notion documents/structure into drive, so I could use proton docs as a notion replacement.
I find the proton docs editor already very similar to the functionality of the notion editor (60% ?). I guess there are still several formatting options missing, but proton docs is already pretty similar, so i am asking for the notion import option.Maybe you could use some open source code from anytype, which is pretty close to notion, too.
