  1. More photo features in Drive

    More options for working with photos would be useful. I miss the option to change the arrangement of displayed thumbnails - like Apple photos, pinching the thumbnail grid size decreases and spreading the fingers increases the grid size. I also miss the option of basic editing, such as cropping the photo. It would be good to have this and move away from Google or Apple Photos completely.

    It would also be good to have some basic photo editing, such as applying a filter, creating and later editing an album, sharing this album, or searching for photos like in Google photos…

  2. More fonts

    I think that maybe Proton should add more fonts such as Libre Baskerville. I also think that they should allow at piece of text to be moved without the font reverting to Arial. (E.g: Verdana to Arial)

  3. Photo backup by album should save to albums

    In the mobile app I can select which albums to backup on Proton drive. When saved to Proton drive the photos should stay sorted into those albums.

    Additionally, being able to create share links to those albums would be good as well.

  4. Improved ProtonDoc/Drive feature

    -word counter
    -ability to change background color on docs/darkmode for docs in drive
    -ability to upload fonts for more options
    -integrated find and replace feature

    Please! These would make the changeover experience from editing in gdcs to proton nicer.

  5. Password Protect Desktop App

    I have Proton Drive for Mac installed on the computer in my office at work, as well as my personal computer. I'd love to be able to password protect the folder so that it cannot be immediately accessed without a password. The encrypted disk image route is not accessible via the mobile app, and signing out is a major hassle.

    Add tabs to Proton Docs for navigation / sectioning, for knowledge management use cases, like tabs in Google Docs ( https://support.google.com/docs/answer/15499791 )

  8. Docs: Insert image from proton drive

    One can already insert images into a Proton Doc. But only uploads from the current computer are supported. One should also have the option to use an image that is already on proton drive.

  9. Sync specific folders only

    Would be nice to be able to sync only specific folders. I have PD at home and would like to have it at work as well, but I do not want my personal files to be on the business computer. Just sync a work folder. Other cloud services have this, so would be nice to have as well.

  10. Default font/theme

    It'd be great if I could set my own default Docs theme:

    1. Font family
    2. Font size
    3. Light/dark mode

    Basically, I do not ever want to use Arial.

    Ever.

    Ideally, I should be able to load in a handful of custom fonts if I have the relevant file. Happy to not have them loaded from Google Fonts for obvious reasons.

    The tab photos is missing the Desktop. Would be nice to have all my photos accessible from there too.

  14. Share Photos folder

    It's great we can finally sync our photos automatically with Proton Drive, but now, we'd like to share them.

    I would like to be able to share the whole folder with people from my family account.

  15. Duplicate file search and preview within ProtonDrive

    As described in the title, a possibility to find duplicate files within ProtonDrive. Clear indication in which folders the files are stored and a file preview to compare the two files before deleting one or more of the same file.

  16. Control how often a Proton document auto-saves

    Editing a long Proton doc is becoming impossible because it auto-saves so much that it becomes unusable and lags.

    Is it possible to control the auto-save settings so that it only autosaves every (e.g.) one minute rather than after every keystroke. It's not a problem for small documents but it is for bigger than 8-10 pages.

  17. allow downloading entire folders at once on the mobile app, and maybe also give drive media player functionality.

    i wanted to use drive to keep a music folder synchronized from my computer and phone, but i could only manage to download one song at a time, which when there's hundreds of them, is a bit difficult. it'd be nice if i didn't have to download each file individually, but could instead download the entirety of the folder containing them. as well as this, it would be nice if i could use drive to play music, instead of having to transfer the songs into the vlc player app.

    really love what yall are doing by the way, keep up…

  18. Ability to have different folder colors like in Google Drive

    That would be nice to have the possibility to change folder colors like in Google Drive as i think it's quite helpful to distinguish folders in a group.

  19. Proton Drive Web app: Forward slash "/" keyboard shortcut to initiate search, just like Mail :)

    Hi team!

    It would be amazing if we could initiate search in Proton Drive web app by simply pressing the forward slash "/" key. Functionality is already there in Proton Mail, and it's so bloody handy.

  20. Only upload new photos to Proton Drive

    Only upload new photos to Proton Drive (not entire set of photos from your device). This would avoid uploading large previous datasets.
