1. Include just SOME of the paid Standard Notes features with Proton Unlimited

   Personally, I'd love to see the following paid Standard Notes features included with Proton Unlimited for free:
   -write and edit markdown and rich text, checklists, code snippets, and more with the powerful Super note type
   -create spreadsheets with advanced formulas and rich formatting
   -use the web clipper to save web pages as notes

   I understand maybe there are contractual or financial reasons Proton can't make the ENTIRE $120 Standard Notes Professional plan included with the Proton Unlimited Plan (which ironically is the same price). But the free version of Standard Notes is really pretty rudimentary, and I'm guessing 99% of us who aren't lottery winners don't want to double our Proton subscription for tons of other Standard Notes features mostly useful to professional journalists.

   But those 3 features above I think would really enhance the usefulness of Standard Notes to Proton Unlimited subscribers, while still maintaining extra value for journalists and others who can justify spending more for the extra features.

   Perhaps it would be easier to make a 4th Standard Notes Tier (in addition to Free, Productivity, and Professional) called "Value" or something, and you could charge $20 for it, but then include that with Proton Unlimited. Just my two cents. I hope you'll consider it.

2. Payment Plans for Individual Proton Servics (a la carte)

   It would be nice to have the option to only pay for the Proton services you want/use. I've been using a free Proton account for years with the desire to contribute, but my financial situation hasn't allowed for this. I'm just now to the point where I could pay a couple of dollars for Proton services, and would particularly benefit from an upgraded Proton Calendar. Unfortunately, this is only available in the Proton Unlimited, which is $10USD per month even when committing to a full year. This seems quite pricy when I just want a less restricted calendar. Would it be nice to also have Proton VPN, multiple email addresses, etc? Sure. But this plan isn't financially feasible for everyone. Regardless of which Unlimited service it is, I imagine I’m not the only one who would benefit from this proposal. Even if the a la carte prices were slightly more than their prices in the bundled plans, this would allow users to afford the privacy-friendly services they want & give Proton some income from users like me who currently provide nothing.

   I would appreciate a family plan that also includes Lumo+. Currently, I need a family plan plus four Lumo+ subscriptions to cover all of us, which exceeds my budget. Ideally, I am looking for an all-in-one family plan.

4. Make Activity Monitoring Available for Proton Visionary Users

   As a Proton Visionary user, I would greatly appreciate having access to the Activity Monitoring feature within this plan. This would allow me to track how my account is being used, see important changes that have been made, and respond quickly if any unwanted activities occur.

   Including this feature in Visionary would be a valuable addition, since the plan promises the maximum limits and features available. Currently, users who rely on Activity Monitoring have to switch to a professional-tier plan—despite it offering fewer overall benefits compared to Visionary—just to get this single function.

5. Allow for an upgrade path in Google Play......

   I am stuck after buying a Pass Plus subscription. No upgrade path in Google Play, no way out, no support. Contacted both Proton support and Google support. No help from either ends. Only 2 options are:
   1. Wait until my subscription expires NEXT YEAR in September PLUS another 60 day grace period they have to keep themselves linked to you as long as possible. And there's no guarantee they will even unlink themselves after waiting for OVER A YEAR! These are just fairytales.
   2. Make a new account and subscribe online and pay full price and lose my current domain.

   So now I cannot buy any other service with this Proton account. I haven't seen such lack of disregard in my life. It's like you don't want to make money.

6. Build Your Own Plan (BYOP)

   I feel kind of stuck right now with my decision to switch to Proton VPN, but I already pay for Proton Mail and can’t justify Proton Unlimited. I already have the Lifetime plan for Proton Pass, so I don’t want to pay for it again. I don’t really want cloud storage either, because I’d rather have all my files stored locally. I just want to pay for email and VPN, hopefully with a bundle discount that would justify the switch, as $29/year for my current VPN is hard to beat.

7. Lifetime Mail Plus

   I really like the Pass Plus lifetime plan, because I can rely on all my aliases being active forever.
   I am interested in the Mail Plus subscription, because of extra addresses and unlimited folders/tags, but it makes me uncomfortable knowing my important extra addresses would stop working if my subscription gets canceled.
   It is understandable that lifetime plans are not profitable in the long term, but the perks of Mail Plus and Pass Plus are not as expensive as providing VPN or cloud storage and Proton already added a Pass lifetime option.
   Another user shared the idea to buy lifetime additional aliases and this post has been marked as planned in 2015. I want to express my need of a lifetime plan providing all Mail Plus features.

8. Take Advantage of Bitwarden Increasing Prices to Provide a Pass Plus Combo

   I'm a Proton Mail Plus user. I currently use Bitwarden Premium as my password manager. I recently got an email from Bitwarden informing me that they are going to double their price. My subscription there renews in March, so I thought this would be the best time to switch to Proton Pass. However, the features I need are only available on the Pass Plus plan.

   What did I try? To subscribe to Pass Plus in addition to my current Mail Plus plan. But it isn't allowed! It's either one Plus subscription OR the Unlimited plan.

   The Unlimited plan would be more expensive for me than continuing with Mail Plus + and Bitwarden Premium, even at their increased price. Especially because, for the first year, they'll charge current Bitwarden users a "mere" 50% more (advertised as a "25% discount" over the higher price). That being the case, you are definitely going to miss the opportunity to bring me into a higher-paying grade.

   My suggestion then, which I know is repeating aspects of other suggestions here but it is worth it for the specific opportunity, is for Proton to capture a good chunk of Bitwarden Premium users who are, like me, unhappy with their 50% to 100% price increase, by allowing combining specifically Mail Plus with Pass Plus, the Pass Plus part being promotionally less than Bitwarden's increased price when combined this way.

   I cannot say for sure, but such a plan would put me much closer to the threshold for Unlimited, and I might upgrade to that in a year or two as I get more used to Proton's ecosystem. Right now, however, Unlimited is definitely beyond my budget.

   Hope you decide to do this, and ideally before I'm forced to renew my Bitwarden Premium subscription!

   Many users, like myself, don’t require the full Mail Plus subscription but still want a reliable, privacy focused email experience. For casual users who primarily receive emails, a Lite Plan could be the perfect fit.

   Including an additional pm.me address or at least access to Proton Bridge would add significant value. A simple pricing model, such as $1/month or $10/year, would make this plan accessible to a wide range of users, encouraging more people to adopt Proton Mail while keeping it affordable.

10. ideas to make Lumo+ worth it

    I think there are ways to make it worthwhile to fund permanent chats for free users. This is a major pain point because most people want their chat history to be permanent.

    My ideas:

    Personalize Lumo’s appearance. Some users form a bond with the AI they use, and Lumo is one of the few assistants that actually has a visual persona. Proton could turn this into a Lumo + feature, allowing users to change Lumo’s colour, add a collar, or dress it in outfits.

    Redo‑reply option. Not many users need this frequently, so it could be a premium‑only feature, or free users could receive 1–3 free redos per month.

    Conversation mode (voice‑to‑voice). While other AIs already offer it, it isn’t essential for Lumo, but adding it as a Lumo + perk would make the subscription more attractive.

    More interactive elements. Enable users to pet Lumo, play with it (e.g., a laser‑pointer mode), or otherwise interact with the avatar. Such playful interactions would differentiate Lumo and could justify an additional fee.

11. Modular bundles for PLUS users

    Hi, I love your services! I'm currently using Proton Mail Plus and I'd like to suggest a "Modular Bundle" system.

    It would be amazing if we could pick and choose additional services (like Proton Pass) and add them to our existing Plus plan with a loyalty discount (e.g. 40%). Currently, the jump to the Unlimited plan is quite big if someone only needs two specific services.

    Allowing us to customize our plans would be a game-changer for the community!

13. Allow a ProtonVPN Plus User to Simply Upgrade ONE of The Included (Free) ProtonPass, ProtonDrive, or ProtonMail but NOT ALL of them

    I bought ProtonVPN Plus for 24 months. It comes with Free, but Limited ProtonPass, ProtonDrive, and ProtonMail.

    I want to upgrade to ProtonPass Plus, but I don't have any use for ProtonDrive or ProtonMail. I have been heavily invested in other solutions for many years

    But I am told that my only option to get ProtonPass Plus is to upgrade ProtonVPN Plus to a much more expensive plan and get the upgraded ProtonDrive and ProtonMail as well which I do not need or want.

14. I want to add VPN to my Mail Plus account and take advantage of the end of summer sale

    The end of summer sale is tempting but I already have products from other providers so I don't need the whole Unlimited offering. Besides which, after a year the price would escalate and I couldn't justify the expense. I want to add VPN to my existing Mail Plus account, preferably via the end of summer discount, but I can't find a way to do this. Why can't I have Mail Plus plus VPN? 16. Visionary + Business Suite Plan

    I would like a combination of the Visunar plan and the business plan.
    A subscription where you can manage both features.
    I would consider it worth €150 a month for 10 users + 1 VPN IP server.
    The API key should be easier to manage.
    You should be able to delete the IP monitoring logs yourself.
    The business plan should have an admin account whose rights cannot be revoked by other admin accounts in the organization.

17. Stop locking advertised 1GB of storage behind a 15-day call to action

    One's locked at 500Mb if they don't perfom actions they might not even be able to, although the service advertised itself as 1GB no strings attached.
    It feels shady, reminds of the disgraceful practices we're trying to avoid by using Proton, & completely turned a friend off the service because they wanted a clean e-mail adress, not another source of economic pressure.

    Apple and google store don't support multi user i.e family plans not there is local pricing available, given some countries have restriction to send foreign currency is it posisble to get these plans in apple or Google play store so it is easier for people to subscribe, the single user plans are allready available.

19. Increase the number of aliases

    10 email aliases in Proton Mail Plus and 15 in the Unlimited account are far too few. What’s the point of paying for three domains if I can effectively only use three email addresses per domain in Proton Mail? Whether it’s Startmail, mailbox.org, or especially TutaMail, the number of aliases you can create with your own domain is significantly higher—or even unlimited—everywhere else.
    I can't switch from Tuta because I only have 10 email addresses here, one of which is the Proton Login address and another is the postmaster address (elsewhere, administrative addresses like postmaster or webmaster don't count at all).

    10 email aliases in Proton Mail Plus and 15 in the Unlimited account are far too few. What’s the point of paying for three domains if I can effectively only use three email addresses per domain in Proton Mail? Whether it’s Startmail, mailbox.org, or especially TutaMail, the number of aliases you can create with your own domain is significantly higher—or even unlimited—everywhere else.

20. Visionary Accounts Should have access to one Dedicated VPN Server

    I want to use Dedicated gateways and would be glad to pay for one but I have to create a business account. I would like to be able to just add a dedicated gateway to my Visionary plan. I have been a visionary plan subscriber for many years
