  1. Allow for an upgrade path in Google Play......

    I am stuck after buying a Pass Plus subscription. No upgrade path in Google Play, no way out, no support. Contacted both Proton support and Google support. No help from either ends. Only 2 options are:
    1. Wait until my subscription expires NEXT YEAR in September PLUS another 60 day grace period they have to keep themselves linked to you as long as possible. And there's no guarantee they will even unlink themselves after waiting for OVER A YEAR! These are just fairytales.
    2. Make a new account and subscribe online and pay full price and lose my current domain.

  3. Proton Mail Lite Plan - $10/year

    Many users, like myself, don’t require the full Mail Plus subscription but still want a reliable, privacy focused email experience. For casual users who primarily receive emails, a Lite Plan could be the perfect fit.

    Including an additional pm.me address or at least access to Proton Bridge would add significant value. A simple pricing model, such as $1/month or $10/year, would make this plan accessible to a wide range of users, encouraging more people to adopt Proton Mail while keeping it affordable.

    It was possible to purchase extra storage before the rebranding. I’d like to see that feature returned across all plans including Visionary. Blocks could be structured something like:

    10GB
    100GB
    250GB
    500GB
    1TB
    10TB

    Let me buy as many blocks in whatever configuration I choose to meet my own storage requirements.

  6. Appropriate fees should be determined specifically for countries with high inflation.

    In countries with high inflation, paying with Dollars or Euros costs too much compared to the currency of that country. For such countries, special low fees must be determined and payment must be made in the local currency.

  8. Offer a "lite" version with a lifetime purchase option for users who use minimal features.

    I love the services Proton offers and believe they should be compensated for the great work they do. But I would really like to be able to just pay like a one time $250 for an account that had the paid subscription benefits but with just a single email domain and half the storage or something.

    Consumers are burnt out on subscription models, we need to go back to just buying something and that be the end of the transaction.

    It would be nice to have the option to only pay for the Proton services you want/use. I've been using a free Proton account for years with the desire to contribute, but my financial situation hasn't allowed for this. I'm just now to the point where I could pay a couple of dollars for Proton services, and would particularly benefit from an upgraded Proton Calendar. Unfortunately, this is only available in the Proton Unlimited, which is $10USD per month even when committing to a full year. This seems quite pricy when I just want a less restricted calendar.   10. Suggestions for Billing and Payment Options

    Dear ProtonMail Team,

    I have two ideas that could make your service even more convenient for customers:
    1. It would be very helpful if the billing date could be adjusted directly in the user dashboard.
    2. Additionally, it would be desirable if personal accounts could also pay via direct debit, similar to what is currently available for business plans.

  11. Allow us to create other accounts with custom domains we already have tied to existing accounts

    Having me be able to use a custom email domain for my account is cool, however, limiting what I can do with the domain that I PAID FOR, is entirely overstepping boundaries. I should be able to create a new email under my account using my custom domain, and then be able to create an entirely separate proton account using that email with my custom domain.     I’d like to suggest a feature that would be really helpful for admins managing paid Proton accounts:

    Currently, Proton doesn’t seem to send out monthly billing notification emails when an invoice is generated or a payment is processed. It also doesn’t include the invoice as a PDF attachment in any notification. This means admins have to manually log into the dashboard each month just to retrieve the invoice.

    For those of us managing billing and accounting tasks, it would be a big improvement if Proton could:

    Automatically send a billing email each month when a new invoice is issued.

  13. I want to add VPN to my Mail Plus account and take advantage of the end of summer sale

    The end of summer sale is tempting but I already have products from other providers so I don't need the whole Unlimited offering. Besides which, after a year the price would escalate and I couldn't justify the expense. I want to add VPN to my existing Mail Plus account, preferably via the end of summer discount, but I can't find a way to do this. Why can't I have Mail Plus plus VPN?     That maybe priced at 7.99€ a month or 84€ per Year

    In the global cost of living crisis we need more help from companies trying to do good. many of us just can't afford to continually upgrade packages from storage getting filled up. At the same time, we don't want to be using unnecessary resources putting pressure on Proton.     As a small business owner, I often manage multiple Proton accounts – for example, one for personal use and others for different projects or clients. While Proton is already a great tool, handling multiple accounts could be made a lot more convenient.

    What would help:

    The ability to link and switch between multiple Proton accounts within the same interface, without constantly logging in and out.

    An option to set different billing addresses and email contacts per account. This would be especially useful when managing subscriptions for multiple businesses or teams.

    Have the ability to log in through three separate forms of identification before accessing the Proton account.
    For example :
    1 - the Proton password
    2 - Google Authentication code (or any other tool)
    3 - Proton authenticator (to be created)

    The user initially logs in with their username and password. Then Proton asks for the 6-digit code that Google Authenticator (or other) gives.   19. Make Proton Mail optional or more functional for Proton Pass & SimpleLogin user

    I purchased the lifetime plan primarily for Proton Pass and SimpleLogin. However, I’ve noticed that using a Proton Mail account is currently required to log into these services.

    If Proton Mail is going to remain a mandatory part of the login system, I would appreciate it if the account came with more practical functionality—such as email forwarding, around 10GB of mailbox storage, and access to Proton Mail Bridge.

    At the moment, the Proton Mail account feels somewhat underutilized and doesn’t offer much value for my use case.
