Just quoting from Proton's recent blog post:
"Standardization is important for two reasons. The first is that Proton remains committed to the open web. Email is one of the most successful open standards that has ever existed, and a core part of that success is interoperability."

This is part of the autofill improvement, which is ongoing, this was highlighted in the recent Roadmap: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
We should have a significant enhancement via iframe coming soon.

As a current Mail Plus subscriber, when trying to subscribe Pass Plus for 2€/month only Proton Universal plan is offered, but this plan is much more expensive than Mail Plus + Pass Plus. I don't see a reason to restrict users to subscribe only the services they want to use.

Ok sorry but I'm now really considering moving to Tuta (similar privacy-friendly mail and calendar service) just because of this 10 years missing feature. Cmon developers!
