Introducing Docs in Proton Drive – collaborative document editing that’s actually private: https://proton.me/blog/docs-proton-drive
With Docs you can:
- Write with privacy — Create and edit documents within Proton Drive, knowing your contents are only accessible to you and those you choose to share with.
- Share and invite anyone — Invite other users to view or edit your documents with a single click.
- Collaborate in real-time — Changes are reflected immediately, ensuring every contributor always sees the most up-to-date version.
- View cursors and presence indicators — See who else is viewing or editing the document, enhancing teamwork and communication.
- Leave comments and replies — Add comments to share feedback without editing the document. Comments are visible to all collaborators, keeping everyone in the loop.
- Import and export with ease — You can upload .docx documents, edit them, and download in various formats like .docx, .txt, .md, and HTML.

it's the only application that's missing so I can move to Linux full time - even if it's a very basic Linux client to start.
Appreciate the update at https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonDrive/comments/1gzgfu0/comment/lzmkowc/

with Mozilla Firefox at risk, from an ongoing legal case which might prohibit Google to majorly fund them anymore, to them doing more questionable privacy things with "privacy preserving ad measurements" in search of relevancy and funding? the world is in need of an alternative.
Whether it Proton's own Browser creation, a collaboration with Mozilla Firefox (to get them independent or fork it if allowed, or GrapheneOS (Vanadium) or something else - I'd switch to a Proton browser and be willing to pay a monthly/annual fee for it.

Yeap, seems with the 1.8.0 update they released an Windows on ARM variant.
Here is the unedited link to the Windows on ARM Version
https://proton.me/download/drive/windows/1.8.0/arm64/Proton%20Drive%20Setup%201.8.0.exeMakes me really happy, since even tough Proton Mail and Proton Pass (desktop, not browser) aren't ARM native yet, they run emulated. VPN and Drive are ARM native.

please prioritize Proton Docs editing on mobile and desktop - whether it's in Proton Drive or a standalone Proton Docs app.
