An error occurred while saving the comment I would like to have the option to have multiple vpn connections open at the same time, but only used for specific apps. I would like to use e.g. Switzerland by default but for netflix use every time US etc. So ideally the vpn client notices that I open netflix and connects for this app exclusively to US.

Providing an API also allows 3rd party business tools like Calendly to integrate with ProtonMail and Calendar which is highly needed to use Proton as a Microsoft or Google Alternative in Business..
