Hi! Note that this is already available in alpha: https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-prerelease/. Here's a Reddit post with some additional info: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonVPN/comments/13xlaey/new_features_on_linux_alpha_application/ (we recommend that you follow us on Reddit for news like this).

We plan to implement it soon into our beta version and then, eventually, into production. Make sure to share your feedback with us on Reddit, or request and vote for features you think we should add here.

In our setup, reCaptcha is served from a sandboxed iframe, which prevents it from being able to interfere with our java script, so it does not pose a privacy or security risk.

Currently, we don't officially support email clients other than Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird. Other clients may work, but some features may not work properly.
We're working on supporting more email clients in the future (Spark EMail included). Thanks for your patience.

HI! Thanks for the suggestion. It will happen after our domain/DNS code refactor.

This already exists. If you hover over the lock next to the senders' address you can see a tooltip explaining how it was encrypted. Messages that arrives unencrypted and are encrypted with your public key (such as messages from a Gmail contact) will have a grey lock. Fully end-to-end encrypted messages (such as from another ProtonMail user, or other PGP enabled service) will have a purple lock.

We're watching how DIME evolves, but we still see major usability, anti-spam, and technical problems. There are also bigger security problems we would like to tackle first, such as end-to-end authentication and web of trust.

The comment "Anonymous commented · March 23, 2017 14:45" has basically covered everything.

We will add that the reason Godaddy remains the registrar is because they are one of the few registrars to support DNSSEC. Using Godaddy as a registrar is not so problematic because we run our own DNS infrastructure.

We will look into adding a purge option. You are welcome to reset your Mailbox password whenever you wish. This will reset your Encryption keys. In addition, you can delete your account whenever you desire.

The best solution for this example would be to install and use a Password manager. There are a few plugins that might help such as LastPass and 1Pass.

There is a balance between security and ease-of-use that is not easy to solve. If your passwords are auto-populated somehow and then your laptop gets stolen, then what happens?
