    Either that or let us use an FTP client. Filezilla will work for me.

    I would love a desktop client for Linux. Something that I would like more is to be able to FTP into it. Either works for me.

    Maybe a service like Fonus is what you are looking for. Its VoIP so it uses data, combine that with the vpn and you should be fine.
