I find Proton’s pricing absolutely reasonable, especially considering the range of services and the entire ecosystem (Mail, Drive, VPN, Calendar, etc.). A lifetime subscription may sound tempting, but for providers like Proton, it’s hardly sustainable from a business perspective—there are ongoing costs to cover, especially for a privacy-focused service. If you want to save money, you can flexibly choose individual services or wait for discounts. The competitor Tuta is cheaper, but also offers fewer features. For me, the added value of Proton is absolutely worth the higher price.
