    I get they probably want to just roll their own payments processing when it comes to crypto but for me I'd much rather they at least had the option to use some company like Coingate, Now payments, whatever

    I'd prefer the newer faster cheaper coins like Algorand and Solana. If ethereum, I guess Base. Old slow ones, I guess Dogecoin and Litecoin are fast and cheap enough. Monero is also at least anonymous and private

    I want to pay but I also don't want to use Bitcoin. I don't care to look into lightning and if proton uses lightning network and if some exchange withdraws into lightning, etc. I'd rather just use USDC on Solana or Algorand or the coins themselves

    If it's a chain supported by portal bridge, solid and not just basic ethereum, good
