If you don't want to use AI, don't use/download Lumo. AI is the future, like it or not, and for Proton to not make it available with privacy in mind would be irresponsible and backward thinking. Proton is not pushing it in our face and it's not interconnected with all their other services.

No way. Again. Proton is not meant to replace every app on our phone. Creating a dialer app that has full features like spam blocking and voicemail will make Proton expensive.

I'm on the fence about this one. A photo app would be nice, but a REAL photo app would have editing features and stuff like that, and so we stray from the point of Proton in the first place. The more we ask Proton to do, the more expensive or will become, and really we are here for the privacy and security, not the an app for everything.

I disagree with this. Signal already does a good job. If we ask Proton to replace every single other app we use, all our eggs are in one basket again and we are back where we started.

To me, "Vaults" sounds more secure than a "folder" sitting out somewhere.

Seems to me this is an Android function not available to Proton, or anyone else for that matter, since Android doesn't let you specify a default calendar. Not sure what Proton could do about it.
This is highly unlikely. There's a reason that only one company had RCS-like features in their messages app until Google "created" RCS, and it's the same reason that it took years for Google to force their way into being number 1. They accomplished it, though, and **** will freeze over before another app comes even close to introducing a competition. This isn't just developing an app... This is developing an ecosystem that all of the carriers have to sign on to... And the carriers have no incentive to even talk to anyone else about any other option.
