    Hey pat, What you said only applies to forwarding emails, since you are forwarding the mail not your alias.

    Apart from that, your email is shielded.

    When you reply, you reply to the simplelogin address which forwards your email. Basically SimpleLogin sits as postman during the process.

    Try doing this with a test account. See what the sender sees.

    This is part of the autofill improvement, which is ongoing, this was highlighted in the recent Roadmap: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026


    We should have a significant enhancement via iframe coming soon.

    I think three options should suffice

    - Custom address
    - Proton Address
    - Aliases

    It can be either only one of them or they could be selected like with a check box leaving the other as the user deems necessary along with the ability to re-arrange the order.
