  1. Select all on Android

    For the Android app: Add a check box to mark all e-mails at once. I want to have this ability for all folders within the ProtonMail Android app. This is to speed up the process of clearing the mailboxes.

    In Gmail one can change the font of a pasted in text to match normal look of the rest of the email. Proton only lets one change the entire email to text or normal

  3. Option to always load images sent and from trusted senders

    Hi
    I have disabled automatic loading of images in mails
    But for messages SENT by me I think it's only natural that the images are always shown. I mean, I created the email, surely the images in it are safe for me to load ;)
    Other suggestion: Load pictures from senders where I have already clicked "load images". Like a trusted-list

  5. Faster folder switching

    protonmail on Android 12; currently when i select another folder, the new folder header will show, but the mails from previous folder remain visible until decoding is finished, this to me is confusing. possible to at least clear the screen in the time it takes to decode? possible to load decoded mails as soon as decoded?

  6. Support and provide information for older macOS

    I am a paying customer and wish to remain one. But Proton Bridge for Proton Mail is currently only for Big Sur and above, and I am using an older version, v. 3.0.21 of Bridge. I get a message to update it but I am scared to because I have zero idea if it will download the last supported version for my system or else the newest thing which is (supposedly) not supported. Bridge is working for me and I do not want to break it. And I have no idea which version is okay for my Mac and where…

  7. Limit number of registered Proton emails allowed on paid accounts

    If you have a paid account there is no limit to how many additional Proton email addresses you can register (@proton.me, @pm.me, etc).

    There should be a limit so one user cannot register hundreds of good usernames just so other people cannot have them.

  9. Whitelist only option

    The option to auto block/trash/spam all emails except the whitelist.

    It's a spam/phishing-proof email setup (new product category?).

    I do this with the sieve filters already, but there's not a convenient, quick UI to whitelist emails or do it in bulk.

    Email aliases are great. Except I have to keep creating and deleting them which itself gets very tedious. Especially when the auto-fill option of a signup field doesn't pop up.

  11. Proton Alias Suggestion Generator

    I doubt I'm the only one with this issue but I've tried many many different alias names to add an alias to my account. Regardless of the alphanumeric combination I enter the system tells me the alias is already taken. It would be nice if the system could provide more guidance and suggestions based on your desired alias name.

  12. View Message Header without opening email

    Currently we have to open the email to view the headers. It would be safer to view them without opening when checking a potential phishing scam email. Outlook can do this.

    Add ability to customize the view of the mailbox on mobile apps, such as changing the width of each email listing; view sender, time received, subject line, and 1st line of email body; show icons from sender instead of the 1st letter of the sender's email address, etc etc

  14. Add star feature next to emails in mailbox

    Add an empty/blank star ⭐ next to emails on the mailbox on mobile app (Android).

    Just like Gmail where you can tap on the star and it will be gold-filled letting you know the email has been starred.

    Instead of having to go into the email itself and then tapping on the star.

  16. Lock & Burn Switch for desktop application

    Add lock application feature for Desktop Mail app. Leveraging encryption at rest (meaning a full data lock). One of the reasons I use a non-persistent session/browser is in case I suddenly lose access to my machine. I'd like a yubi key option too. You could use system auth scheme too (e.g. how you implemented FaceID and pin on the mobile app).

    Similar to how Safari now has a private window lock, the app should do the same (so that if I lock the desktop, the app locks too and it has a time/interaction based lock). It should also operate as…

  17. Right Click / Context Menu to copy email links on web / desktop

    When I'm about to click a link in an email I often copy it in to the browser I want, or hoverer it to check for phishing links. This isn't possible in ProtonMail Web or Mac.

  18. Extend limit of 3 months for scheduling emails

    Remove the limit of 3 months maximum schedule time. For my business (and personal life) it would be tremendously valuable to schedule emails a full 365 days in advance.

  19. Remove email address (not just disable)

    Once a paid plan user added a new email address (@proton.com / @pm.me), they would not be able to remove it if they no longer want it, or they simply made a mistake when creating one.

    This would occupy one quota of plan, for example, there are only 10 addresses for mail plus user.

    I would like to suggest enabling removing undesired email addresses, releasing the quota for the user, and opening up the addresses again for the public to choose from.

  20. Pay extra fee to get unlimted features in premium subscription

    Proton unlimited offers more e-mail options and features. I would like to be able to use those, even if subscription fee was a bit higher.
