offline mail button
Create an offline button for webmail, I am starting to present Proton to many clients, when I'm trying to demonstrate Protonmail to clients and in GoToMeeting, the last thing I want is for new mail to be in my inbox from another client or personal email show up.
I'd like the ability to have an offline button to click on and then turn back off when I'm done with the presentation.

Add ability to unsubscribe in Android app
Currently, you have a mechanism for unsubscribing to newsletters from the website; however, this functionality is missing from the mobile app for Android. It would be a great fix to be able to unsubscribe from the phone instead of having to remember to do it when I am back at my computer.

Restrict sign-in by location
We can increase security by restricting sign-in by IP location. LastPass allows users to prevent any sign in from a country they don't normally use to sign in from, this would be a great additional security feature for Proton.

Management of message expiry in filters and in the APP
I use filters to tag my incoming mails depending on the subjet, sender address and destination address.
I would love to be able to add an expiry period (1week, 1month, 3months, 1 year) as additional action in the filter. This would allow to automatically delete old and useless messages without having to browse through them.
I would also love to have a minimal expiry management in the APP.

Sent & searched emails should also be shown as conversation
When one goes to the "Sent" folder, one should be able to see the emails listed grouped/threaded as a conversation, just like with the Inbox. This should be at least an option.
Analogously, when one is searching emails, found emails (at least as an option) should also be grouped/threaded as a conversation.
It's otherwise very difficult to find the right emails (both in sent & search modes). Actually, often I don't care about a specific email. What I care about is finding the conversation.

ProtonMail: filter should also include the possibility to look inside the content of the email
I was configuring my filters in proto email, but I was not able to find a way to create a filter where
it should check the content of the email.I think this is important for a filter system.

Allow more than one free account in the app when signed in with a paid account
In the Protonmail mobile app, you can log in with multiple accounts at the same one, but only one of these accounts is allowed to be on the free plan, even if you have another paid account.
I understand the restriction when using only free accounts, but I already pay for my main account. I need to monitor two mailboxes of groups/organizations that I'm in. Both of them are on the free plan, which means I have to choose which one I add even though I pay for my main account.45 votes -
ProtonMail leaks my real address when replying to alias received mail and use BCC
- I have created an email alias in Proton Pass for Firefox.
- I have sent an email to this alias (from different provider) and inside ProtonMail (opened in web browser Firefox) replied that e-mail. During replying, I have also added my other external e-mail into BCC field.
- I have received an anonymized reply to main address to which I was replying, good. But the copy sent to BCC address was NOT anonymized.
I think that when i want to remain private under alias, the privacy should be complete, not revealing my real address when BCC or CC(not tested). Will you consider…

Package the Proton Bridge as a Docker container
It would be nice if we could run the Bridge as a Docker container instead of installing it locally. Just route our mail clients through it across multiple different systems.

Snooze function also when conversation grouping is disabled
Recently the snooze function has been added, which is great. However it only works when conversation grouping is enabled.
For me this is a strange requirement. I don't like conversation grouping, since it groups things that don't need to be grouped. Also, I want to snooze a single email, not a complete conversation.
It would be nice to drop the conversation grouping requirement and be able to also use the snooze function when conversation grouping is disabled

Better Command Palette
As a heavy keyboard user I was happy to see you have a command palette via ⌘ + K. Only to be disappointed by it's small feature set.
Would be nice to have more actions inside the command palette:
- Move message to folder
- Label message
- Go to folder
And anything else that you can currently do via a shortcute or via UI.

word suggestion during email composing
You should introduce a new feature word suggestion during email composing, it helps us to compose email quickly. I am already using this feature in Yandex mail and Outlook mail.

Customize priority
Right now there is sort of a way of marking an email as high priority by starring it, but it doesn't do much, and there is no low priority marker.
I suggest a 3-step priority marker. Emails are marked medium priority by default, and nothing changes. But the user can mark them high or low priority manually or by using filters. By default, the inbox shows all of them and sorts by priority first, then unread status, then date. Optionally, the user can filter the inbox to hide low priority emails, only show low priority emails, or only show high…

Apply filters to specific folders
As a protonmail user creating a mail filter, I want to specify which folder(s) the filter will be applied to so that the filter does not move or label messages located in folders such as Sent, Archived, or Trash (or any folder that I specify).
My specific use case: I use Proton Mail's SMTP server to send notification messages to myself from my machines on my network. The sender address is always something like notifier@mydomain.com and the recipient is something like foo.bar.alert@mydomain.com or foo.bar.log@mydomain.com. This way, when the message hits my mailbox I can I can label and sort…

Single interface for all linked accounts
As a user I want to have an ability to view my multiple inboxes in a single interface.
Currently I have to navigate to another page, switch accounts and then only view 1 inbox of that chosen account. This is very inconvenient. Also, I have a paid subscription but only 1 inbox sees that. Other linked accounts appear like they're on a free plan and are constantly suggesting to upgrade. This is irrelevant and simply annoying. Link between my acounts needs to be esablished and they should share the attributes.
