I would like to propose an idea for an option that allows users to opt-in for the recovery of previously encrypted files without needing a recovery key, similar to features available in services like Google Drive and OneDrive. Allow unselect during Ctrl multiselect in Proton Sheets
In other spreadsheet editors, such as Google Sheets, if you hold Ctrl and click on multiple cells to select them, you can click a selected cell again to unselect it. This is very helpful if you're multi selecting and accidentally select a cell, since it'll let you unselect it and still keep all your other cells selected.
I tried this in Proton Sheets, and clicking on an already selected cell (in multiselect) does nothing.
It's a very small feature, but a good quality of life by design. :)

Proton Docs: use pt instead of px, or offer choice
I just tried Docs für the first time and the first thing that springs to my eye is the font size showing "px" as measurement. Being curious about this I downloaded a test doc as .docs and opened it in Word, which showed the correct size in points (e.g. 16px -> 12pt).
While I am happy that the measurement unit is no mistake and is converted correctly, I still wonder why Proton chose to go with px instead of pt while still offering the same sizes as other text editors, just using px as unit.While the average user might…

Backup on schedule
Would be great to have an option to backup on schedule. Problem I have now is if a program does a lot of real time changes in a folder, then Proton Drive will go rampant with trying to save these changes to the cloud and often bug out because the files are in use etc.

Ability to Prioritize Sync
As a user of Proton Drive, I would like to prioritize files and folders above other file syncs. There are certain files that are critical to be updated as soon as possible over other sync files. For example, you have added a bunch of photos to proton drive and they are taking hours to be added to proton Drive Cloud. Suddenly you update a critical file. Different storage options
We need higher and smaller storage options. If I need to buy 1TB storage, I should able to buy it without buying Duo plan. And also we need smaller plans. Some people need less storage than 500GB. So, there should be a plan which has 100GB storage.

As a professional delivering files on the daily, I'd love to see the introduction of a customisable and branded landing page for shared files à-la-WeTransfer, allowing professionals to remain on-brand and professional for file deliveries using Proton Unlimited or other paid tiers (for Drive).
I'm thinking of graphic designers, agencies, photographers, but every B2B/B2C business could benefit from this seemingly easy-to-implement feature.

Thumbnail support for modern formats, like WebP, HEIF and HEVC
Newer smartphones make use of modern formats for storage of photos and videos. These formats include WebP and HEIF for photos and HEVC and WebM for video. Adding thumbnail and metadata support for these formats allows us to make better use of the albums feature, without having to convert these files before storage.

Proton Docs Desktop App
Alongside the desktop Proton Drive app should be the option to have a desktop Proton Docs capability so that you can edit, create, or delete your Docs from the desktop without it having to be in the browser. Syncing across devices accordingly and the ability to work offline on the desktop. This would allow for easier use of functioning on an ongoing basis without having to do it on the web every time.

Automatic Substitute Feature
A feature where we can manually add substitutions. For example, I like to use em dashes in my writing (—) but it's difficult to do on my regular keyboard, so I used the substitute feature in the other docs I use to automatically substitute "--" to "—" and use it with other things, too, like adding accented letters automatically onto names (turning eon to éon for example). I'd like comment/tag functions for files/photos/videos on the drive
I'd like more options for personalization and organization of files. I'd like to add hyperlinks to sources. Tags for general ideas, like "cats" without needing that to be in the title of the file.
