Next - previous button in shared folder
It will be nice to have a next and previous buttons when a folder is shared via public link so the content (pictures mostly) can be easily browsed

PDF - scroll while zoomed
Reading pdf's on mobile is hard, so I use the landscape mode combined with zoom. But if I reach the end of a page, the PDF viewer is not switching to the next page.
Please add that the next page will be shown although I've zoom activated7 votes -

I'd appreciate a feature that notifies me when something is changed in a share folder. For example, I get a message when someone has uploaded pictures

Proton Sheets Standard Formatting Keyboard Shortcuts
Currently Standard Formatting shortcuts like Ctrl+B for Bold, Ctrl+I for Italic, Ctrl+U for Underline, etc. are not implemented in Proton Sheets. These are very basic things that the lack of significantly increases the time it takes for perform basic tasks.

Mobile app photos should be viewable in the proton drive desktop app
Currently the only way to see files backed up from a mobile app is to open up the proton drive web app. This is incredibly cumbersome and there should be a section in the proton drive desktop app where we can access those photos.

Version History should show time.
Version History only shows the date and not the time. If I have multiple versions in one day I have to do multiple clicks back and forth to the details modal in order to see the time.

Proton Docs accessibility (alt text for images)
We have to be able to add alt text to images in Proton Docs
While working on the accessibility of a document, I was not able to add alt text to images. This is a basic accessibility feature, and is in WCAG 2.2, 1.1.1 Non-text content (https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG22/#non-text-content). There is no good reason to exclude this feature. It would only lead to less accessibility for people with disabilities.6 votes -

In large documents with multiple headers, add a navigation bar to easily locate and maneuver to different parts of the document.

Foto Face recognition
I moved all my fotos from Google Fotos to to Proton Drive Foto. One
Google feature I am missing ..... the face recognition which enabled me to find
in short time several fotos from specific persons (or also animals)

Do not upload duplicate files
When I upload a file that already exists with the same name in the same folder, it is uploaded with a sequential number added. It would be better to do as other competitors do, i.e. warn that the file already exists and ask whether to upload it as a duplicate or not.

Direct Download Link
When sharing a file, the recipient has to open a web page, find the Download button and hit the button.
I understand that this process is also a free ad for your services but it would be very helpful for some people to share a direct download link: when clicking on the link the file is automatically downloaded.This can be done with other cloud providers and it's really helpful, especially with elderly persons.

This "Bring Your Own Storage" (BYOS) model would transform Proton into a secure bridge for private infrastructure.

Document formatting: Add support for superscript and subscript
It doesn’t seem possible to format superscript (e.g., “x²”) and subscript (e.g., “O₂”), which is made easy in e.g. Google Docs. Please add for easier and more complete formatting options.

Open or convert Google Docs files
I moved my Google Docs files to Proton. Currently, those can't be opened in Proton Drive. If that cannot be achieved, it would be nice to lets you convert them. I am also curious if there are current ways to achieve that.

"Not in Any Album" Header button
Albums a great but there is no way to see which photos are in an album or not.
Adding a selector in the header to filter and show the just ones not in an album would make it easier to manage organizing them6 votes -

Ability to select a table and change the font for all of the cells
You need to be able to select a table and change the font for all of the cells. I have had to change the font every single time. It is ridiculous that you cannot do this automatically.

Make Dropdown Menus in Proton Sheets More Usable
Something akin to Google Sheets dropdown menus would be greatly appreciated. Separating by selected cell range instead of the whole sheet like one person said, the ability to select multiple options from the dropdown menu, edit how the dropdown appears (bubble, carrot, nothing, etc.), and other features that Google sheets has. This is the only other thing keeping me with google sheets right now because their dropdown menus are my lifeblood.
