In Windows, change the icon for added folders, så that it is clear that those folders are backed up by Proton Drive.

Sharing .vcf cards - Unpleasant UI experience
- When sharing a .vcf contact file via Proton Drive, the preview page expands the entire vCard text, making it hard for non‑technical recipients to locate the download button.
- Desired behavior: Show a generic file‑icon with a prominent “Download” button (similar to how PDFs or images are presented), or automatically trigger a download for pure data files.

Sync'd sharing, not the "shared with me" division, we need to cowork on documents! also we need spreadsheets!
We need to get actual sync'd shared documents, not this bizarre retrograde division between documents im hosting locally and documents being shared with me. Nobody is used to working this way anymore and it is not strong enough to support your ambitions to become a secure office suite in its current state! We want the excellent privacy and security you offer, it helped us make the transition, but now we need you all to step up and help us stay for the life of our company!

To have a file management tool that a user can to see all files (uploaded and synced) in one place on Proton drive
I don't seem to be able to see all files and so be able to understand what files use up my storage quota. I would like to be able to see the files I uploaded and the files sync from my computer in one interface so I can reduce the duplication.

Proton drive mobile application for Mac
It would be nice if on Macs with apple silicon you could install the proton drive app directly from the app store. I am writing this because the current Mac app is completely different from the mobile app and I don't like the way it works. I prefer the app designed for mobile (iPad) and use it on Mac without having to use external apps for forced compatibility

Make docs formatting dropdowns on mobile app more stable
I'm so glad to see more formatting features showing up. On my android, when I go to select a formatting feature, I have to hold down my finger on it and then select it. Otherwise, the dropdown disappears without me being able to select the formatting feature. Thanks.

Fix: When replacing selected text in docs, more text gets deleted than was selected
Maybe it depends on the operating system or browser, but on both my devices (PC and android), I'll select text I don't want anymore. Then I'll type in new text to replace it. But instead of only replacing what I selected, it deletes some extra text that I didn't have selected. So I lose words. If I hit Undo, I might forget the new idea I replaced the old text with. If I don't hit Undo, I forget the words that I didn't want deleted, but which got deleted. This still happens after reinstalling the app and restarting my phone.…

Better icons understanding on Mac (synchro, offline, cloud)
I cant understand icons on my virtual proton drive on osx, some files have a little cloud with an arrow going down, some have nothing .. for a short time I got all my files with a simple cloud without arrow (meaning everything online?)
Actually everything is synchronized and nothing is on my local drive, so I guess there is some kind of problem with Mac UI ... I only see files and folder with cloud + down arrow or no icons at all.
It would be nice to speed up large amount of little sized files upload too, but…

Add OPDS feature to Drive
The Open Publication Distribution System (OPDS) is an open standard that allows content servers to syndicate their publications, like e-books and comics, in a catalog format. This enables reader applications on devices like iPads and Android tablets to directly browse, download, and sync content from a remote library. I propose that Proton Drive implement OPDS support, allowing users to generate a secure OPDS feed for any specified folder.

pin login
pardon me if this is covered somewhere else but i didn't see it. it shouldn't be harder to view a proton drive doc than it is to view all my passwords in proton pass. a pin option would be helpful. but more so a sso-like ability per device session makes more sense. when i log on my laptop and sign into one service it seems right that the other services be signed into also. Rescale thumbnails
In web view, the size of photo thumbnails is fixed; one can only change the view by zooming in/out on the entire page. It would be helpful to have different views (different size thumbnails, list view...) as a feature.

Feature request: Full Proton Drive Photos export with albums
Hello Proton Support Team,
A complete export feature for Proton Drive Photos is essential.
Users should be able to download all photos and videos in one operation while preserving original quality, metadata, album names, and album organization.
At present, exporting albums manually one by one is too restrictive and makes data portability difficult. For a privacy-focused service, users must be able to retrieve all their data easily without losing years of organization.
Please treat this feature as a priority.

Password-Protect
OneDrive offers the option to use a password-protected vault; couldn't something similar be done here? Or perhaps introduce a feature that allows folders to be password-protected?
