Can't sort by date
On Proton drive on a PC you can sort files by date but you can't do this on the Android phone app. Thus is extremely annoying not allowing this type of sorting by date. Please fis this.

Allow Renaming Photos in the Photos Section
Please allow users to rename photos directly from the Photos section in Proton Drive. Currently, renaming is only possible from the Files section, which is inconvenient.

Web based Drive Search
Search is not available because the contents need to be indexed or something. Please review this. It's day 5 of me waiting for all my 900 gb to be uploaded and I can't perform a single search. Please contact me for advise on these basic things you are missing. I am regretting switching from Mega already. Please.

Proton Photos - Web - Hide photos in marked albums from main view
I use my "main" photos view as a way to scroll back through the memories of my life.
Some pictures, like screenshots of things or photos of receipts or "private" photos, I do not want to see these in my main list. They clutter this view and make it ugly.
I propose adding a "Hide these photos from the main view" checkbox to albums, that hides photos in these albums from the main view once they are added to it. This would allow my main view of photos to stay clean.

Proton Photos - Web - "Add to album" stays visible when selecting photos in an album
It is common for photos to appear in several albums at once. For instance I have individual albums for my nieces and my cats, and photos commonly feature several of these people in the same photo.
When I select photos in the main "Photos" tab, I get an "Add to album" button.
When I select photos within an album, the same button does not appear. I only have the options to download or remove from the current album.

You offer the Calibri font in Spreadsheets, but not in Docs? Please streamline and offer it in Docs too. This feels like a no-brainer.

Ability to permanently delete one or more files without going to the Recycle Bin
In the various right-click menus, add "Delete Permanently" ...it simply prevents some files from having to be deleted twice.

Proton Drive App (Android,...): Search function for file names
Please add a search button in the Proton Drive file view. For example I have a document repository stored on Proton Drive with a folder "invoices" with 765 elements where I would like to be able to search for "fridge" to see how old my current fridge ist. Or search for "paint" to find out which product I exactly used to paint my home.

Automatically update Proton Drive on Windows
Proton Drive on Windows is able to automatically notify the user of available updates. While it is nice to see the application is actively maintained, I would much rather have the application manage its own updates and install them silently at a convenient time (e.g., once the application (re)starts).
Proton Drive already has an updating mechanism allowing the user to press the update button, it also has the ability to notify the user when an update is available, please just link those together to handle updates automatically.

Drag Select in Proton Drive
Could we please have a drag select function within Proton Drive on the Web App?
So if we select outside a file and drag, it creates a box that selects all files contained within that box.

Travel privacy feature
A hide/un-hide feature to disconnect/hide/remove all traces of my Proton Drive files (or certain files) when I enter certain countries. Uninstalling the app on iOS still leaves a copy, if I am correct. Installing the app and re-downloading all my offline files everytime is very time consuming and tedious. Or simply allowing me to not show certain offline files and folders (I believe Dropbox features that) would be amazing. Or perhaps a dashboard that allows me to select everything on Proton I want to hide when I travel would be amazing.

Let Proton office software (such as Docs) open documents and spreadsheets instead of Microsoft Office.
I want Proton office software (such as Docs) to replace Microsoft Office in opening documents and spreadsheets, blocking dynamically loaded content and malicious content, and unlike Microsoft Office, it doesn't lack control over the location of temporary files. This ensures that sensitive information in documents is not leaked, and that malicious documents do not pose a security risk or leak IP/device information.

File request
No, Proton Drive does not currently support a native, blind "File Request" feature like the ones found in Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive.
While you can generate public links that allow outside users to upload files, Proton’s current setup behaves like a shared folder rather than a secure submission drop box.
The Current Workaround (and its Limitations)
You can technically receive files from non-Proton users by doing the following:
Create a new, empty folder in your Proton Drive.
Generate a shareable link and set the permissions to "Anyone with the link can edit."

Currently epub files have a generic icon, and you can't find a book with a simple glance when you need to read all the titles.

Auto delete Proton Drive file(s)/folder(s) after X amount of days

For such an advanced and secure mail app, I cannot believe that you still do not offer simple SORTING: by sender, by subject line, by message content, etc.
