For the Mac OS app: This idea has been mentioned before, but I'd like to reiterate it with an addition. It would be really useful to have the ability to protect the drive as available on iPadOS and Android. I don't understand why this option wouldn't be equally important on computers. In fact, it's essential for me when working in public places with my laptop. I'd like to see the same feature on Macs, plus the added option of using Touch ID (available on most modern Mac models).
