I have calendars that I don't want to add new events to, and that only have events in the past. I'd like to keep old events in my calendar, so deleting a calendar is not what I want.

proton calendar is great on the laptop and in the phone app. however, I have found with using the phone app calendar it gets bogged down [very slow] in the saving aspect of a new appointment. it is not my internet connection or phone [a new samsung galaxy] as anywhere I am saving a new appointment or editing a new one, the app still gets bogged down. my calendars go back to Jan 2022
