Provide the ability to Go To to a specific date. It is very inconvenient to page through the calendar to enter an appointment in the far future. For the UI design, I suggest modifying the [Today] button: replace it instead with a data entry field that defaults to today's date. Next to it place a small "revert" button that reverts the date entered to today's date.
