Buy Chrome - US DOJ may force Google to sell Chrome
The United States Department of Justice will be asking a judge - the same one that ruled that Google illegally monopolized the search market - to force Google to sell the Chrome browser.
Of course I have no idea what kind of logistics are involved in the purchase of Chrome, let alone whether Proton even has enough money for the purchase itself. Despite that, I think the potential benefits for internet users around the world are big enough for this idea to be shared and considered.
My expectation would be that Proton takes over the development of Chrome rather than just integrating it into their own products like with SimpleLogin and StandardNotes. I would also be very disappointed if Chrome were to be completely rebranded such that design changes are extremely frustrating for existing users.

Nevermind lol. Chrome has been valued at $20 billion (USD). Oh well
