This would be fantastic.
A robust tagging system with a great search/filter/query tool.
I would want some way to separate personal vs business bookmarks securely. Either using profiles (that require credentials to access), or the ability to password protect a folder.
A password protected folder option to secure potentially sensitive urls from family members.
The option to password protect the entire bookmark system with autolock options.
Would enjoy having the bookmarks saved to Proton Drive as a special view/UI to organize/search.

Hi everyone, this one is under consideration, pending anti-spam measures we might need to take.

This would be really great if you can make it happen.
Slight hijack, but can you add the <alias> name into the compose window (like next to the proton email) so that we know we are using an alias and its obvious. I have a near heart attack every time I'm about to press send.

This is the reason I don't use Proton Drive. A common approach to privacy is persona's and email aliases enable that to occur. As stated in the previous comment, protecting the primary account email address is important to me, I don't want to share it - ever.
Enable a folder to be assigned a Proton email alias or Proton Pass alias and all files under that folder are displayed as owned by that alias as well as the email from which it is shared.
This would enable a user to establish a persona within proton to share emails and documents.

I would like Proton to provide system tags/labels that dictate retention such as 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 180 days, 365 days. These tags could then be used in rules to assign the tag to all incoming emails. Proton would delete any emails older than the stated tag.
If I haven't looked at an email 180 days, chances are I never will, just delete it.

Aligns with this idea: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/945460-general-ideas/suggestions/46541965-self-destruct-action-on-filters
By folder or tag would suffice. Want options to auto-delete by calendar options (last day of the month; or, first day of the month, every Sunday at midnight, etc.)

I want the ability to mark/assign an email for deletion after x-time to reduce the amount of time I spend auditing my inbox. If PM is to be my main inbox, then I need tools to manage fire hose of emails received. My preference would be to assign a retention by email and/or sender.
As a use-case, when I purchase an item, I want to keep the receipt for a year but I am happy to delete the promotional/sale emails after 30 days. Some companies use the same sender email for both the receipt and promo emails -- some don't.
Having the ability to setup a filter by sender and assign a retention date/expiration would be very helpful in managing the inbox.

Duplicating an event is possible from the web app. Coming soon to other platforms.

I would prefer to have a list of templated events when clicking on a date. For example, clicking on April 12 would show a list of templates to insert like Doctor, Dentist, Vacation, etc. That way I can control what's in the template (a separate view to create and edit templates) and then just need to click the date to add the event.

Since there is no option to bulk upload images from my desktop to the Photos area I thought I could sync a local folder to files and then "move" the images to the Photos area - not possible.
It seems like the only way to bulk upload files to the Photos area is currently through iOS or Android device.

My preference would be to never use my primary proton account to login to Proton apps. I would prefer to use an alias to do that so my primary is never exposed.
I like the idea of a check box to enable/disable the alias as Login option.

All Proton mobile apps now support FIDO2 for 2FA: https://proton.me/support/2fa-security-key
We'll be adding the option to disable authenticator app very soon.

I would be willing to pay extra for this service so that I can use a number for purchases and a throw away number for services that require it but don't really need it.

Complimentary to this idea: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/47687138-map-viewer-for-existing-geo-location-data-in-files
Having a google mymaps option with Proton would be great. The ability to create layers and add geometry (points, lines, and polygons) manually or from existing files on Proton Drive.
The ability to search for and save locations, save maps, share maps. I do like the idea of getting directions to then convert the route to a saved geometry.
I could see the 'photos' component of Proton Drive being built out to include a map component in a photo album. Or, attaching photos to points on a map.
A stand-alone maps application like google/apple maps would be amazing.

This is similar but more focused than the idea here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/945460-general-ideas/suggestions/45229390-proton-maps
This is more about a 'viewer' of files on Proton Drive to open a map UI of items within Drive that have a geolocation. Creating layers/adding geometry (like a google mymaps) is not part of this idea but could be part of roadmap.
1. View geotagged photos from an album in a map view; or to add/change location of photo (via pan/zoom from the photo view)
2. Open geo-files in a map view, that is kml, gps tracks, sheet with lat/long, shapefile, geojson... open standards.
Again, the focus of this idea is to view existing geolocation data from files in a map UI, not a map UI to create new geo data.
AI tagging and ability to use natural language queries.
